Madame...as in Sally?
I had mash potatoes and broccoli and it was delish.
I can't not eat potatoes. I am half Irish fgs, it's the way of my people.
I won't be eating much tomorrow :(
New gear coming tomorrow so might do first run on thurs....we shall see.

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 28/04/2015 19:14

Maybe I'm part Irish as well, I looooove potatoes Grin

Baddz · 28/04/2015 19:16

WW...let's run away and start a potato farm!

Lyndie · 28/04/2015 19:17

Evening all. Hope everyone is well.

Issy hope the tooth is ok.

Badders good advice on bras and exercise!! The vast majority of wenches have excellent norkage, I feel somewhat inferior!!

Enjoy your massage LetUs.

DD was asking for a comic or book about superheroes, no idea where to begin with that!! Any ideas? Smile

Lyndie · 28/04/2015 19:20

Ooh who has NC?

Madame hope the job situation improves soon.

I'd love to run. I mainly due exercise DVDs at home because DH is away so often. I've lost my new one which is annoying. It was Davina 7 minutes and her new trainer is a sort of HBF which does make exercise more pleasant!!

Lyndie · 28/04/2015 19:21

Oh sorry didn't see you there Madame. Wink

MadamedeChevreuse · 28/04/2015 19:29

Hello bads yes.

Errr...I dont actually know about comics Im afraid lyndie! Marvel stuff might be too old for her? A friends dd who is 6 loves the beano...(I didnt realise it was still going.) Obvs not superheroes though. How old is she?

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 28/04/2015 19:53

Baddz don't make the mistake of going straight off running at first or you'll injure yourself. Use Couch25K & walk/run the intervals they tell you to.

Issy hope you're being looked after. Have never had a tooth out so v scared about that possibility. I have the hygienist this Fri for the first time ever & I'm scared about that too Blush

LetUsPrey · 28/04/2015 20:42

Massage was ow-tastic! Pelvis was apparently out of line which is what had been causing my right hip pain. Sorted that and my neck. Had a deep tissue massage. Quite a lot of tension apparently. Felt loads better when I left.

I've been home for approx 30 minutes and I can feel everything tensing up again and it's like I never went. I wonder the fuck why Hmm. Could it be because DS2 hadn't even started the rest of his homework when I got back. The homework which is due in tomorrow. And DS1 had been told that he could go back on the computer, which he delayed doing until about 8.20! I said too late, but apparently he'd been promised. I am on the verge of pulling the plug out.

MavisGrind · 28/04/2015 20:51

Evening all.

Badds, I'm doing a 10k trainer thingy on my phone (although instead of getting out regularly I seem to leave it a week and then do two back-to-back Hmm) and I find that if I've got a good running playlist on I rather enjoy it. The dog isn't so convinced though.

Issy - hope the tooth doesn't give you too much gip. Perhaps a cocktail would be a good idea?

Madame - only one thing for it with time on your hands: a Spaced/Green Wing/Black Books series re-watch. Grin

I'm on my third bar of chocolate of the day. It's fair to say today hasn't been my healthiest.

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 28/04/2015 21:12

I'm in the middle of a Mars Bar. Bollocks.

LetUs, wonky pelvis. I know where you're coming from. Get thee away from the Zumba & down to Pilates.

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 28/04/2015 21:20

Fucksake. I ate the whole thing. It was supposed to be 2 bites Angry

Baddz · 28/04/2015 21:22

Don't worry sparks...am going to do the c25k thingy...have downloaded the app.
Looks quite gradual.

IssyStark · 28/04/2015 21:27

mavis unfortunately alcohol is banned for the first 24h after, otherwise I would welcome it's oblivion Grin

On a more serious note: if any of your dc end up with fixed braces, for god's sake take them to the dentist every 6 months and if they complain about toothache, don't assume it's just the pain of teeth moving around.

I've had over two decades of hip with my upper molars and all because of a brace in my teens to correct buck teeth. I'd rather have had buck teeth which were sound.

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 28/04/2015 21:37

Bads that would be amazing Smile

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 28/04/2015 21:53

Evening. Have RBNR, as ever.
Issy, bad luck on the tooth - hope it's better now.
Badders good luck with yours
Fingers crossed mine seems fine now...
Madame yay for the rock climbing!

I keep thinking about running but I'm pretty sure my knees will not let that happen. Maybe I should try the couch to whatever-K just to give it a try. Or get my backside out on the bike every morning after the school run.

DH is still trying to lock-down DS's computer... anywench know of good lock-down tools to block specific sites? DH now suitably irritated and grouchy becaues the 'restricted site' method isn't working. another cheery night at the coalface... and I need to work. Would rather be in the hayloft.

Laters wenches.

ChaiseLounger · 28/04/2015 22:13

Feels guilty that I do no exercise whatsoever, when I hear of all you runners.

FancyFancy · 28/04/2015 22:20

No I don't have kittens madame - just a link to a webcam that livestreams kittens 24 hours a day! A woman who fosters pregnant rescue cats in Canada broadcasts to raise funds/awareness & yesterday the latest cat had 5 kittens (she even broadcasts the births).

Have fun on your rock climbing course!

Good luck with the dentist tomorrow badders

I quite enjoy the hygienist sparks, just so long as the water they use with the cleaning tool isn't too cold. If you don't have problems eating ice-cream etc. then you should be fine with that. At my current practice they do seem to have shares in electric toothbrushes though, they constantly bang on about them. And then 5 minutes later tell me my teeth cleaning is good Confused

MadamedeChevreuse · 28/04/2015 22:32

helen you need comtess's internet security man! Flowers sorry Im clueless about that Im afraid. hope things are better with ds now btw.

Poor issy and letus. Hope the massage helps letus despite the crap when you got home. I also recommend pilates for wonky bits.

mavis Ive only ever seen odd bits of green wing Shock do you recommend it?

MadamedeChevreuse · 28/04/2015 22:34

Awww fancy I got all excited there...

BloodyElkFire · 28/04/2015 22:39

I'm excited by your rock climbing Madame, you lucky thing....is it a wall or outside. My climbing partner moved to Dorset Sad and now I've no one to play with

BloodyElkFire · 28/04/2015 22:40

Green Wing is fabulous. Totally hilaire.

FancyFancy · 28/04/2015 22:43

No clue either helen sorry - I have parental control filters through BT, but I wonder how good they are as they block the websites of drink manufacturers etc, but have no problem with fanfiction sites & Tavern porn Grin.

Sorry to get your hopes up madame, but I think if I had any more cats, FancyCat would leave home. She's not good at sharing.

AnneOfAramis · 28/04/2015 22:49

Did I just see that Bugsy Malone is on at the theatre????? I wasn't paying attention. Argghhhhhhh.

In other news I told the DC I would take them on the London Eye on Saturday - wenches it costs £114 for a family ticket for 30 frigging minutes!!!! I now need to do some talking down and sell DS3 with looking at it and hanging out on the Southbank and a trip to look at Buckingham Palace.

MrsB - I did some English vs National Trust research today and am def going for English Heritage. We have been making lists of places to visit. Grin

Well done exercising wenches. I have my graduation in October so want to be able to buy something to wear that I chose rather than what fits.

MadamedeChevreuse · 28/04/2015 22:50

its only an indoor wall elk, but once Ive done it I can go along there and climb when I like. There'll be clubs organising trips from there Im sure, so maybe it will lead to me actually having a sporting interest, for the first time in my adult life. Flowers for your lack of partner. Any way you can drum up another one?
