Well, as you ask.....I'm out tomorrow night and then taking ds1 to see Avengers on Sunday. Then Monday I will largely be thinking 'Wohoo, I'm not at work!' Weather forecast is rubbish so, no surprises there...

We have no weekend plans, waiting to see what the weather does. Spa today was most excellent though - spent 4 hours rotating through different steamy/hot/dry/warm rooms. and eating a hig tea type thingy.

MN has been fucking me about so this is first posting op.

So. Got home with ds4 after picking him up from cubs. The first thing I heard was 'mum and dad are going to be taking the piss all weekend'. From ds3 to ds2.

I scuttle ds4 off to bedroom to 'jama up. I decend on the kitchen with eyebrows in a full W. 'What am I going to be taking the piss out of? And stop saying piss!'

So it turns out (backstory) that ds2 is now 'going out' with girl who is the sister of the older 1st yr Uni girl who he snogged. AWKWARD or what? She's 16. This is a relief.

So Casanova rides again. Mr C and I have whispered about situ in the utility room. His parting words: 'we will need to watch that'un like a hawk' . I'm thinking of buying a nanny can like on meet the parents. Srsly.

Mr C in my good books. He's bought me a beautiful bouquet of roses and a Dualit kettle. What more could I want for bank holiday weekend?

Ds got gradually worse all afternoon/evening and upshot is took him gp and he has a uti...blood and other stuff in his wee.
Poor little sod :(
All in all I'm pretty pissed off (excuse the pun)
Felt ugh all day (could be the diet) and am knackered. My poor heels are wrecked.
Ds will have me up in the night no doubt.
DH is away with work again on Sunday.
So Ds is bound to get worse :(

I'm hoping it is this that's he's been being a bit funny about. Despite awkward element of the sister that's his bother not mine. I know the mum quite well from school things when they were at primary and they're a lovely family. Just need to make sure he's behaving himself if it's getting 'official' enough to actually say they're going out as he's normally very much a social butterfly.....

Evening, I'm running terribly late this evening owing to an infestation of teenagers earlier this evening. It felt very rude to start cooking dinner whilst they were still here, so I didn't & then one got picked up by his mum. I haven't seen her for ages & she's completely lovely, so we got talking, which made me even later.

Having spent the morning either drinking tea with friends or bumping into people in town & talking to them, I seem to have spent much of the day chatting. I shall call it networking, then it sounds productive

Your poor DS badders. At least he has a long weekend to rest, fingers crossed the extra day off school will do him good.
