Lovely honeymoon choice badders, I like Austria too - I think DS will like the food. I'll give him credit for that, he is very easy to feed Grin

Oh, go on try them on!

Lyndie · 29/04/2015 14:05

I can't remember if I said this to anyone but does anyone else get exams nerves this time of year even though they graduated 12 years ago?

It's like Easter has finished, the weather improves and I feel this niggle still all these years on!! There were an awful lot with school and Uni but even being inside on a nice day reminds me of studying for them!!

Good luck to wenchagers with exams!!

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 29/04/2015 14:07

Well perhaps you can do DS1's exam stressing for him then Lyndie Hmm We seem to be following the same pattern for GCSEs last year - do you remember me tearing my hair out? Well, that.

Maybe he'll pick up a pen in a fortnight or so, the night before the first AS-Level papers....

FancyFancy · 29/04/2015 14:13

I don't get that lyndie, but I do sometimes get dreams about going into an exam that I haven't prepared for.

Commiserations sparks, does he appreciate the stress he puts you through?! DS has yr10 exams starting tomorrow. Will be interesting to see how he does as he usually underprepares and could do better. Teachers may not be so forgiving in yr10. Or he may ace them Hmm

Lyndie · 29/04/2015 14:17

I do that as well Fancy. Or am told I have to do an extra year at Uni and leaving my DC behind!!

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 29/04/2015 14:24

After his GCSEs, I have no leg to stand on at all re revision nagging. I have told him A-Levels are a different kettle of fish - but it has so far fallen on deaf ears. And given his estimated grades, it would appear the X-Box is a very useful tool in the revision process Hmm

Lyndie · 29/04/2015 14:46

Tricky though Sparks. If he's like my DH then he's just naturally talented, good memory, why would he need to revise? Grin

I remember going on an Easter holiday to a Scottish island and I wasn't allowed to go out during the day as I had to revise!! I got to go out in the evenings but spent the whole holiday at the kitchen table with my books!!

FancyFancy · 29/04/2015 14:51

Shock lyndie, that's worse than mine!

Let's hope it does prove effective for him then sparks. I'm just trying to have faith in his teachers to flag up any concerns, which is easier said than done.

FancyFancy · 29/04/2015 14:57

The only thing my parents said to me when preparing for O levels was one comment from my dad : 'Your sister appeared to be doing more work at this stage than you'. I breezily assured him it was all under control and as my results were better than hers, they never said a word to me ever again on the subject of exams. Grin I hope I can be that chilled.

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 29/04/2015 15:27

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 29/04/2015 16:10

FolknNorah · 29/04/2015 17:12

Oh, well that's disappointing. Should I try twatting the musketeer six way? Although I haven't got a copy of it anymore...

baddddrrrreeeeerrrrrsssszzzzzzzz
I can't find a bra either. The ones in my size seem to forget that I don't need my bra to cut up under my arms anymore than other sizes do.
Ff seems quite tame though. But jealous tbh. Wink

Sparks and Apricot, I have just got our camping stuff out of the loft, ready for our first camping trip of the year. Weather predicts rain. What? For a bank holiday? Surely not!! Oh dear.
Apes you've already done your first camping trip of this year and thus the spring clean, haven't you?

Lyndie · 29/04/2015 18:29

Ooh Chaise where are you off to? We've checked our stuff and are thinking about a weekend soon but not in bad weather!! Are you camping or caravanning?
