They're very fussy, don't know who spoiled them like that Blush

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 25/04/2015 16:09

I bought these today, they have a net so they are perfect for walking on a warm day, not so good if it's raining. I'm looking for stabile shoes that are not to warm, it makes me sweat like a pig Confused

They have us well trained. FancyCat has refused to sleep on her favourite fleecy blanket since I washed it

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 25/04/2015 16:14

Typical cats Grin

FancyFancy · 25/04/2015 16:38

At least she's not a fussy she's a greedy pig

Speaking of big bellied cats, have you ever watched kitten cams? There's a pregnant cat due to give birth very soon on one of them.

ChaiseLounger · 25/04/2015 17:33

Am re-watching Piñon.

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 25/04/2015 17:45

So there will be tiny kittens soon Fancy? Smile

FancyFancy · 25/04/2015 17:55

Tiny kittens predicted this weekend, but no sign of labour yet ww. FancyCat had kittens before she was rescued & she gets agitated by the squeaks of very young kittens - she starts looking for them in my computer Grin. ScaredyCat is oblivious - possibility as she's never had kittens.

FancyFancy · 25/04/2015 17:58

possibly

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 25/04/2015 18:00

Am flaked out on sofa. DS has Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on TV.

Please send help.............. Sad

In other news The Talk went spactacularly badly this morning when I woke up to DS hammering upstairs wailing . Once I'd talked him down I managed to establish that it is just a curiosity thing and he was worried he was being naughty (bless) And of course being an only he has no siblings to compare with/satisfy curiosity.

Today I have mostly been bee wrangling (found one queen, but the other one is in hiding) and fencing in the chickens so we can walk round the garden without having to dodge chicken poo, and so the flower beds and veg have a better chance of surviving. Oh. And washing, because DS had an upset stomach. Been lovely weather though.

Comtesse - wish, command and all that Grin

Poor DS helen, how is he now? I remember how upset DS was once when I'd found out about him doing something similar online. He was slighty older than your DS and was in floods of tears - absolutely mortified & very contrite without me having to be stern at all.

FancyFancy · 25/04/2015 18:23

Here's a nice one for Athos fans

FancyFancy · 25/04/2015 18:25

Just lovely

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 25/04/2015 18:27

Marinated baltic herring and will fry them tomorrow, will be interesting. Also marinated mozzarella. I feel like I've done good today Smile

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 25/04/2015 18:30

He's fine now, thanks Fancy. I'm still not convinced abotu the number of 'drawings' he's doing of people in underwear Hmm but oh well :) And let me put it this way, he's not going to be supporting us with his talents as an artist in the near future... Grin

Off to cook tea now.

FancyFancy · 25/04/2015 18:39

You little domestic goddess ww Grin

Glad he's ok now helen. I'm guessing you won't be sticking his recent pictures on your fridge door then? Wink

Also off to cook tea - well, re-heat something previously prepared & cook some cous-cous. God I love freezers.

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 25/04/2015 19:15

I love freezers too Fancy, mine is stuffed full Grin I will probably start blobbing tomorrow and I'm usually very energetic the day before. But once it starts I will plonk my arse on the sofa and don't move for the rest of the day Grin

ChaiseLounger · 25/04/2015 20:12

I too am doing nothing. I have re-watched 8 and 9 aswell, and have no intention of moving from the sofa.

LetUsPrey · 25/04/2015 20:23

I am back from watching the new Marvel Avengers film. I can confirm it was absolutely bloody excellent!

Just about to have pizza.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 25/04/2015 20:55

Fancy I don't think so - DH has just rated his style as Picasso, but I still don't think we're going to be living off his earnings Grin

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 25/04/2015 21:18

LetUs so would you agree with the RedScharlach?
I enjoyed #AgeOfUltron a lot more than I thought I would. I especially liked [SPOILER] and [SPOILER], and the bit when [SPOILERS ASSEMBLED]. Grin

MavisGrind · 25/04/2015 21:25

Evening all.

Have managed to tick everything off my to-do list so am treating myself to the last of the chocolate santa, a cup of tea and Paul on Channel 4.

Nothing else to report

BloodyElkFire · 25/04/2015 21:25

oops, sorry!....

I am ker-nackered. Started The Big Post Chimney Lining Clean-up today, good god soot goes a long way. Everything, and I mean Ev-er-ry-thing is covered in a thin film of black. Even stuff in the fridge!, and I thought that was supposed to be sealed.

I'm still sneezing copious amounts of bright yellow gunge out of my face and so am medicating with Pinot Grigio. The sense of well being generated by a couple of glasses on an empty stomach is second to none! Maybe you could have a spare liver installed in place of your womany parts Bads?

I like that pic Fancy, very nice.....and slightly lupine, with those weird eyes.

That is almost very much exactly my review Helen Grin

Watching QI and then off to the Hayloft I think

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 25/04/2015 21:57

It's very quiet in here tonight.

Unlike RL here where I am being serenaded by something scrabbling in the walls - probably mice, hopefully not rats.

Elk sympathies on the soot. DH use and angle grinder to cut a channel in the wall for new electrics once - didn't bother covering anything and the kitchen was covered in plaster dust for days Angry didn't matter how often I washed the surfaces down it just seemed to reappear again. mind you, I shouldn't really complain. I'me the one who cold-chiselled out a hole in the brick partition wall for a new socket, and once it was done discovered that I'd actually also hammered the bricks back so they were slightly sticking out into the next door bedroom Blush DIY ineptitude...

Anyway, I shall head for the hayloft - that usually kicks the party off nicely.

Night all....
