Totally agree with mrsb that the reasons for AH leaving won't be the stated reasons .
mouse, potty training was the only thing my otherwise good health visitor was crap at advising on. I followed all the general advice to 'wait until they show signs that they are ready' with ds, but when he got to 3.5 y.o. & was still in nappies she said 'oh you must've missed the signs' FFS
. Many of the 'potty trained' toddlers are not properly potty trained at all - regular accidents, especially in new environments, and an inability to hold on at all resulting in the parents following them round with a potty or costantly rushing them to a toilet in a panic. When they're properly ready it's much easier, calmer & quicker.
You know your child better than the hv does. If you think he's not ready, I'll put money on you being right rather than her

If the show was reliably historically accurate he'd have more of a point, but it was also the way it was done - the sexual violence was quite salacious I thought, if they really wanted it in they could've done it differently.
