Morning. Well I had to get up at silly o'clock as DS2 has gone off for his D of E practice walk. I am really worried for him - he could barely stand up with his rucksack on. He's so skinny (so no muscles!) & not sporty so has no fitness - he's going to be in such a state when I pick him up later

OK, own up, which wench baked a Muskechocolate cake for the cast after the ice-cream chat this week? They've had one delivered covered in a hundreds & thousands fleur-de-lys

Off to sports events for most of the day. Mr C is on exam help with ds1. Frankly, I've got a good deal so happy to flee with the others for the day. No wifi so will see y'all later.

Helped at school disco last night, DC had a ball and we made £££££ but had to come home, eat spicy potato wedges and drink to block it out. We did also watch X-Men which was a nice Hugh Jackman blast from the past.

I remember after one DoE weekend away being so exhausted my mum had to wash me in the bath - see then handed me a beer My sister, not usually a sadist, is one of her school's DoE leaders.

Had a good lie in (although had a horrific dream that ds2 fell off a cliff which was bloody awful) and then went for a run so feeling virtuous. I've spent the rest of the morning trying to work out a budget when I don't actually know how much I'm going to be earning. I've given up.

Hope you're feeling better soon Bads - I too would like some extra lung capacity and hope the hungover wenches are returned to rude health before wine o'clock too.

Extra large chocolate for poor wifey

I bought shoes today, why is all the stores so bloody hot? I was sweating like a pig! Or am I menopausal already

Then went to my hairdresser, she's a lot of fun, we always talk about food, the latest chocolate bar etc

Then did major food shopping, and bought some food I don't normally eat like raw herring. I will try and marinate it with mustard etc I also discovered that the my cats favourite food has been discontinued

Tonight it's rewatch of TM and plenty of wine and poocorn
