When I watched that scene in ep 5 I genuinely wondered whether anyone considered putting out a warning before the programme. I found it really uncomfortable to watch, can't imagine what you've have felt like if you'd experienced anything like that

Cocktails! A couple of threads ago TM cocktails were mentioned. Finally got around to mentioning it to DrIssy, who is the cocktail guru around here, and he's thinking. Only thing he's leaked so far is the Aramis's will have either Beneditictine or Chatereuse (as long as it isn't Buckfast, that's fine by me!)

Ok ok sorry shite is a bit too strong.
But no. I didn't really enjoy s2. Last 2 episodes were superb. But the others not really good.
I enjoyed the whole of s1 like a lot lot more.

Need to disappear, I now have a garden full of teens and DD has a friend round too. my biscuit tin needs protection!

I did enjoy epis 5, 9 and 10, but I think we're all agreed S2 wasn't nearly as good as S1.

Tonight's cocktail is a Pingpong.

Sloe Gin with violet liqueur and lemon juice with a maraschino cherry.

Surely it should be Athos' cocktail that has Chartreuse ? (See the Sound Booth)

Have started season 2 rewatch and plan to watch until bedtime. Sort of rewarding myself before I go to the library tomorrow.

One exceptionally brilliant interview today and my second interview that told me I would be doing an Excel test gave me a bloody maths test involving units of electricity.

Hopefully Ade's departure is good a thing. I think if Anericans have anything to do with it then more than likely lots of nakedness which I know will please many wenches.

So, my rewatch. Luca in Connie's dream sequence says that

I would like to say that Santi is the only man in the world that can make me wet my knickers at the word 'desire'.

I really enjoyed season 2. Episode 1 is really good I think with the ravine and everything. Piñon was brilliant - lodge excepting but Aramis had great one liners about the aristocracy and about fighting. I rewatch a lot and still enjoy it all.

Hahaha... The look that Aramis gives Dog when Lucy slaps him. Phwoar, and violence. I tell you what me and Aramis would have mind blowing sex.

I might have to join you Anne for the mind blowing sex a RW of ep 1. It's been ages. Also have to squeeze Adrian in at some point NOT for mind blowing sex

I think his reasoning is that Aramis's cocktail should involve something made by monks.

Do any cocktails include honey? Didn't monks keep bees? The fantastic nuns in Knight Takes Queen did. Also I think Aramis would taste sweet so it works both ways.

I liked about half of S2. 3 or 4 episodes were excellent but there were a few I just thought were awful. I'm not sure I particularly wanted it 'darker or sexier' but I suppose it's not the first time a writer has gone in a different direction I'd wanted them to go in! What I loved about S1 was the swagger and the humour and that was missing from S2.

My search for the perfect cocktail is being hampered by the parental controls on my broadband banning all alcohol related websites, so I have to manually override them. Worryingly, these same parental controls do not seem to block access to any of the filthy fic links sparks keeps foisting on me
