And, because I forgot the S2 discussion....

I did enjoy it, but I think on re-watches there will be lots of bits I'll either skip through or not pay much attention to. Don't know, I really haven't done much re-watching and it is hard to compare when I'm so familiar with S1...

MadamedeChevreuse · 18/04/2015 10:07

A TM-Star wars analogy again...

Eps 4, 5 and 6 of Star Wars (1977-1983?) were FUCKING AMAZING. Written by original creator and another bloke.

Eps 1, 2 and 3 (concentrate now non-sw fans) (1999-2002ish) (dont really care) were FUCKING AWFUL. Written by original creator but not other bloke.

Eps 7, 8 and 9 (2015-) from the trailers look totally amazing and a complete return to form. Original creator sacked, written by original other bloke and JJ Abrams.

My analogy rests mlud.

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 18/04/2015 10:20

I think it's a team of writers for S3 Helen, same as for the previous 2 but without Adrian. At least that's what I'm assuming from Twitter. The Script Editor has tweeted something about the writers' room & tagged in one of the writers so that's 2 I know of. No idea what they've done before or if they were on writing team for S1 or 2.

Complete speculation - but it's Jess P who gets all the feedback on Twitter as Adrian's not on it. So I reckon he was taking it in a direction that she could see would not be popular with fans. That's my take, anyway. And I'm making it up as I go along Smile

Star Wars analogy sounds promising. Even though I haven't a frigging clue what you're on about Grin I do know there's a new one coming though!

Baddz · 18/04/2015 10:22

Spot on with your SW analogy Madame!

One load on line, another in washer, beds stripped, ready to wash.
Loads of ironing to do, but buggered if I'm doing it today!
That can be my job for tomorrow.

ChaiseLounger · 18/04/2015 10:31

Sorry Fancy, baileys and hazelnuts are two of my favourite things. Mint chocolate oh yes! Coffee in chocolate , oh yes! Balsamic vinegar on strawberries? Yum.
Can see I am alone here. Shuts door on way out!!

Heads off to find Athos. I'm sure he is waiting for me.

Baddz · 18/04/2015 10:36

I bloody love praline.

MadamedeChevreuse · 18/04/2015 11:01

I bloody love nuts. Any which way. Smile

Baddz · 18/04/2015 11:03

Oh we all know which nuts your prefer, Madame! Grin

FancyFancy · 18/04/2015 11:54

Morning (just)

Agree that coffee in chocolate is the absolute worst letus, but then I think coffee in anything is an abomination.

I should send all those pralines left in the selection box to you or badders then chaise. I'm keeping the strawberries and balsamic though, sorry!

Glad that we have the writing team to speculate over as well as potential s3 direction in the painfully long wait for s3.

Lovely day again today, can't decide whether to attack the garden or my kitchen & utility room cupboards. The cupboards are annoying me, I feel a mega re-organisation is needed.

DD is off doing RidiculouslyOverComplicated school club this afternoon, so that's her happy. DS does not do happy at the moment, he TeenBoy Grin

FancyFancy · 18/04/2015 11:55

He is TeenBoy

I'm choosy about my nuts madame

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 18/04/2015 11:58

Madame prefers Chilean nuts Grin

And back to work.....

Baddz · 18/04/2015 12:07

chilean you say?...
Are they shiny?

FancyFancy · 18/04/2015 12:11

They are the nut of choice of Team A helen Grin

They are hot badders

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 18/04/2015 12:24

To be fair, they all seem to be quite hot Grin

Need to close MN now - I have to do some screenshots and it doesn't look very professional having 'Swagger Inn' listed in the open tabs (and I can't be bothered with cropping the screenshots)

Flopsy28 · 18/04/2015 15:19

Place marking....not keeping up very well.

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 18/04/2015 15:38

Swagger Inn: Thread 92 Right! Ades gone...Fire up the Nonny
AnneOfAramis · 18/04/2015 16:34

Haha, sparks I love your hairdresser directed anger.

Flopsy28 · 18/04/2015 16:56

Ok, caught up . fancy I love your rant about sneaky chocolate additions, I'm totally with you on that.

madame, I must sniggered childishly at your endings to Anne's Hot [name]... Rod is my fave Wink

badz, thank you for the info on your back, I'm not sure what a surgeon will suggest but I'm fully expecting it to be 'suck it up'. I will then therefore, push the other surgeon to take the fecking pins out of my hip so that at least one pain is eradicated.

Right, off to supervise the burning of meat products

Baddz · 18/04/2015 17:04

Flops...back pain is so bloody all pervasive though, isn't it? :(
My hip is playing up too, which I am also ignoring.
My surgeon said that the next step would be surgery and that ain't happening (long term recuperation, off my feet etc) so I have no choice but to suck it up for now.
My plan is to lose some weight and start Pilates to try and help it a bit.
I take painkillers every day. Just otc ones ATM thankfully.
am debating whether to ask the Dr about physio...

Cinnamoncookie · 18/04/2015 17:09

BBQs always make me think of

AnneOfAramis · 18/04/2015 17:19

I love a BBQ. Yum.

Baddz · 18/04/2015 17:28

All the ironing done!
One load left in washer.
Just need to re make beds now.
Dc watching bloody ninjago on Netflix. It's about lego ninjas. Yes. That's right. Ffs.
Dh in the shed.
Mum coming for lunch tomorrow so must go shopping and buy food to cook!
Saturday night is "can't be bothered to cook night" so ds1 had pizza and ds2 had sandwiches! I had fridge surprise and Dh hasn't eaten yet.
Anything on TV tonight? Or will I be watching father ted on Netflix again!?

AnneOfAramis · 18/04/2015 17:30

DC on the way home here and DH working late so pretty certain they will come in and ask for TM. I think it's DS2's turn to pick so I am anticipating Piñon.
