I am failing at the efficient librarian thing due to lack of sleep (what with DrIssy's hayfever and ds2's nocturnal wakings), so obviously I've popped in here to get some inspiration

In other news, DrIssy announced yesterday that the election was on a Thursday. Agog as I was at this astounding news, 'a Thursday, really?', I started to become suspicious when he was mentioning meetings he could move and lectures that he couldn't. Before he could get very far I made it very clear that the bugger was not having the day off (he'd bagged all of Easter), I'd already booked leave for the 7th May and if he thought I was giving up a day's leave, even if it was to spend the day with the grumpmeister himself, otherwise known as ds1, he was very much mistaken. I may have been rather over zealous as nothing more was said on the subject.
