I don't know tbh fancy but yes, probably they are still interviewing people. Its just that with my old job (also a maternity cover so theyre generally not that fussy), they offered me it the next day, so I thought this dept might be similarly quick.

I think I may not have bullshitted well enough in the interview some of the experience theyre looking for though, so if they see someone who has, I doubt Ill get it. Ah well...

Bads commiserations on the tooth (I've got an extraction next week for a tooth that has finally given up the ghost) and hugs for ds, poor thing, what a thing to be thinking Sad

I think I've had too much tea today, the world is slightly spinning. But it could be that the office is too hot and too airless. Who knows? Maybe I just need more sleep. Thankfully little to do tonight as today's the day the cleaner comes Grin

Flushing and children: my 3yo, who has that normal OCD toddler thing, never forgets, but 8yo rarely remembers.

Thanks wenches for your kind thoughts. The funeral became a neighbourhood reunion with some people turning up that we hadn't seen for many years, and we all had a good old reminisce. So, a sad day, but an enjoyable one, and the lady in question would have loved it.

Yes he is being a knob but I am also about to be OTB so I might be over reacting slightly :)
I know we haven't got any money and it will have to go in the cc and tbh it does make me feel really guilty but I cant help needing dental work! The filling in question is very old...I'm amazed it's lasted this long.
The sooner I get a job the better but it ain't gonna happen any time soon with Dhs work and ds2 needs me ATM. He has a had a rough couple of years and is only 6 :(
I have eaten so much at my sisters I have made myself feel sick Blush you would think at 42 I would be able to control myself :)
Kids have both had a bath and and just chilling before bed.
I am going to bed with ghr iPad and going to watch crap.

Baddz I am due on, and I always feel a huge surge in irritation and sometimes even dislike of DH in the couple of days before - it's like my body is furious with him for not making me pregnant Grin In all seriousness, he is being a dick about the tooth/dentist thing, it isn't like you've gone and spent the money on new shoes.

Madame enjoy the film! The waiting thing is horrendous, really hope you hear soon.

to Lyndie, Helen, Comtess, and everyone else, have read the thread but feel I haven't absorbed much!

Still no episode ten, I am also very behind with Poldark.

I'm totally in shock this evening, my aunt, who has been at the centre of all the recent family discord, has been diagnosed this week with terminal cancer. My poor dad is in absolute pieces, he just found out today, and lots of the legal stuff remains unresolved also so there is all that still to sort. I have been so so so angry with her, but I am still upset. Bloody hell :(

My late aunt who died last year could be very diificult sometimes and there was more than one occasion that she treated my dad very badly.
But he loved her and she loved him.
I guess every family is dysfunctional in its own special way.
And yes, you are spot on re my dh - he is a dick Smile but my current hormonal situation isn't helping Confused
I hope to spend tomorrow mooching about uselessly!
