Mini-strop from DD yesterday about being the only girl in her class not wearing a summer dress - bit of an exaggeration as there are only 8 girls and 3 of them were not, but hey. She fits into just one from last year so dress shopping it is today. FMDCGS (DC growth spurts).

I have plenty of washing you can "borrow" if you like Fancy? I'm still playing catch up.

Off for a bit of pampering this morning. Got a facial booked, because I'm worth it . It's also the day for my cleaner so am hoping to come home to a lovely clean house afterwards and then am going to sit in garden in the sun and do bugger all. [lazy housewife emoticon]. Not a fuck will be given.

Going to a funeral today of an ex-neighbour. Out DCs grew up together and are still good friends. She had to sell up a few years ago because her husband had someone else and wanted a divorce. She was a proper wench and we used to have such a laugh at an exercise class we went to. She was younger than me.

Elk DH has absolutely no idea where anything goes in the kitchen, or how to work any of the appliances.

MrsB I might have forgotten to order the summer dresses until Monday (oops!). Thankfully Mr John Lewis are going to deliver them to Waitrose today (they are pink and you can only get them in M&S in August or JL the rest of the time). I love summer dresses because they don't have any blooming pleats! DD was delighted at getting to wear school socks rather than tights, might have to get out the excellent laundry bleach that Fancy recommended though! Enjoy your facial.

I said yes, very sadly they can. It's rare, but it does happen. But that you can't die of abdominal migraine. Hope'it put his mind at rest.

My ds never flushes when he pees. He is 80% when he poos so at least the loo doesnt smell of Clarkson* too often.

*Hopkins is also a valid synonym here.

Mrs Bee I'd like to point out that aside from the garrison, the rest of the Lego creations have been all my own DS1 has done one other building for me but I haven't posted it yet. I had to stop asking him as I was getting the rolly-eyes thing

I have to be proactive this afternoon as I have a cake sale to bake for, a Pilates class, the house to hoover & dinner for 6 to cook. So obviously I am going to spend a good while of that time googling scenes to plan Lego creations for....
