Afternoon.

Poor DS has spent the whole morning in & out of the bathroom, he's being very stoic - in fact is less grumpy than he was over the last few days. Teens eh? Am hoping it was something he ate, or that he can keep his germs to himself & not pass it to the rest of us.

Sympathies to elk, it's always more work when the younger ones get it.

Hope he feels better soon fancy x

Thanks badders. Likewise with your DS, bless him for going in despite not feeling 100%. It's so hard making that decision when they're not feeling great in the morning - sometimes being with friends & keeping busy is a distraction from feeling ill and can be a positive thing, other times it just causes them to feel worse as they get anxious. Hopefully it's a good sign if he's lasted this long today?

Hope so...Ds is often a bit teary in the mornings before school so it's very hard to know what to do.
I mad sure the ht and ct knew the score and they will phone me if he is not well or struggling.
Sigh.

You're right, it's so hard, I feel positively evil if I insist on them going in, but sometimes it needs to be done. I'd offer supportive cwtchs, but think it's best to give me a wide berth, you don't need the lurgy as well .

Still not doing any work... I have had a couple more kudos left on my literature so that was nice. I can hear my boss preparing work in his office but I'm going to enjoy the break while I can. Fortunately it looks like I am working as I am typing!

Found a couple of new pieces of fiction at lunchtime - probably shouldn't have read them straightaway though, I am properly OTH now

So while being dreadfully productive earlier, I wondered over to the s3 speculation on SpoilerTV and a tweet from JP that I saw last week came up. At the time I'd totally missed the significance f her changing her location to Paris 1635. That would suggest a three year (ish) time jump from the end of the last series.

My little cat Sigrid is at the vet today. She's having her teeth cleaned and they do that while she is asleep. I know she's in good hands but I just want to go and get her home

Three years in the monastery eh? That's quite long enough to have kept his side of the deal. And hell he's gonna be gagging for it

Not sure what happened to them going off to get him then - maybe they should've taken a woman with them to help persuade?

Ooh issy, well spotted - I hadn't noticed that (not that I remembered when the last series ended). I hope that won't be an excuse to forget about storylines & not conclude them. On the plus side, it could mean Aramis has spent 3 years in a monastery. He'll be gagging for it when he gets out - flirting with everything in a skirt & hopefully dis-robing at teh drop of a hat
