No real reason - just cos he's a bit grubby.

MadamedeChevreuse · 21/04/2015 08:15

Oooh nice sparks. Hairy. I approve.

My morning regime is a combo of sparks and chaises.

comtesse Shock at the fire news. What a nightmare. Hope not too much damage done.

Re appliances and athos explosives - dont worry, Ive located a make-safe expert to send in. He'll be along in a minute.

MadamedeChevreuse · 21/04/2015 08:20

Here he is. Just to be on the safe side, he's going to be staying all day, to give all the laundry appliances and wiring a good seeing to.

Morning wenches. Good luck with interviews Anne and Madame, and at physio Chaise. Hope the MiniWenches are recovering.

Had a shit night last. DS2 woke up at about 2. Could he come for a snuggle? Course you can. Can you come and get me? Okay. Then can I go back for one of his teddies. It was lovely snuggling up with him for a bit but he's a mega fidget, it was getting a bit warm and there wasn't really room for the four of us. Carried him back. Couldn't get back to sleep for aaaaaaages. Finally did and then at about 5 he woke up again having wet the bed, something he's not done for a few years. DH saw to DS2 and I stripped the bed, put the mattress cover on for a wash and went back to bed. So I'm a bit tired.

This helps though

Chaise I am a bit like you in the mornings but withoutDH getting up. I get up at 7.30 and catch the 8.03 or 8.13 train. I literally get up shower, dress and leave. I only wear blusher, eyeliner and mascara so make up doesn't take long and I never wash my hair in the morning. Sometimes I don't brush it depending on level of curlyness.

FancyFancy · 21/04/2015 08:52

Morning, some lovely Aramis pics this morning, thank you wenches.

I have told DS that Lynx is banned in this house chaise Grin All spray-on deodorants are banned at his school fortunately which helps. He's at an all boys school which I suspect contributed to the lack of interest in grooming until now. He's off school today anyhow (with the squits, so I'm hoping he keeps that to himself.)

MadamedeChevreuse · 21/04/2015 08:54

God letus nightmare. Brew

Anne forgot to say well done for yesterday. Do you know when you'll hear?

FancyFancy · 21/04/2015 08:57

Brew for letus with extra caffeine, what a palaver

ChaiseLounger · 21/04/2015 09:20

Coffee for LetUs. Poor you. Bed changing is a total faff anytime/ anyway, let alone in the middle of the night.

BloodyElkFire · 21/04/2015 10:09

Major vomiting outbreak chez Elk last night. Combines nicely with workmen knocking holes in my walls this morning. Still, they brought an Aramis/Athos clone with them, so I'm being soothed by watching him climb ladders, a lot.

Oh, and I'm having a chaise delivered today Grin

MadamedeChevreuse · 21/04/2015 10:53

btw fancy I couldnt fall asleep last night due to the lines "I like the base. I like the base. I like the buttery biscuit base" thrumming round my head on a loop. Grin

It's my first unemployed day today. The sun is shining, I should go out and dooooo stuff...and I'm farting around on mn and youtube. I could do with some suggestions for a programme of productive / personal growth activities to stop me totally wasting this time...?

Baddz · 21/04/2015 11:19

Morning wenches.
Thanks so much for all the good wishes and advice re Ds x
He has gone to school today but was saying he has tummy pain this morning :( however, I dosed him up and off he went.
I am going to do a diary of possible triggers in case we go back to the paed at some point.
Lovely sunny day here but not that warm, oddly.
Got 2 loads of washing to hang out when I can be bothered....may be some time...

Baddz · 21/04/2015 11:23

Sorry about the vomfest elk :(
Ugh.
Chaise!? Really? Pic! Pic! :)
COMTESSE...good advice as usual re appliances. Never leave my dryer on but must admit to leaving washer on...

ApricotCrush · 21/04/2015 11:50

Morning all! Lovely day here, one wash on line another in machine.

I've just done my roots, but the damn bottle kept getting stopped up and I had to stick a needle in it, so I'm not sure what sort of job I've done. Confused

Comtess yes, we know someone who had a fire from a dishwasher left on at night. Also be careful with phone/iPad chargers, they can sometimes start a fire too.

Hope MiniBads has a good day. I think my DS used to have abdominal migraine, he would be in bed for a couple of days with it, even in his teen years, but we never had an official diagnosis.

Brew for LetUs and Elk and good luck to Anne with the job.

Athos is still AWOL from the top of the thread. Sad

Madame When I'm between jobs, I have an on-going to-do list. It's currently an A3 sheet. Some of them are 'tidy the recipe book shelf' level and some of them are 'remake bedroom curtains to hide faded patches' level, so at least I can cross a few things off from time to time. I recommend this mixture of achieveable and hahahahahahaha

MadamedeChevreuse · 21/04/2015 12:50

I too have a similar to-do list (which is as long as your arm) cinn. So far today I've called my mum and done the online shop. Hmm

The agenda for this afternoon is to get the car MOT'd, buy car tax, and renew DS's passport.

Hahahahahahahaha.

elk my personal growth goals this week are to find a guitar teacher and a yoga / pilates class. and go see Avengers Age of Ultron on Thursday

Baddz · 21/04/2015 12:51

3 loads out.
In fact I have run out of pegs!
My mum is driving me loopy. She is like a 69 year old toddler.
She is having new windows...waiting for a date to get them fitted.
She keeps seeing he fitter around and about and then goes off on a rant to me about how fed up she is waiting.
JUST FUCKING RING HIM AND ASK HIM WHEN HE IS COMING YOU STUPID FUCKING WOMAN
and.....breathe.....

MadamedeChevreuse · 21/04/2015 12:53

Oooooh, my mum is standing as a local ward councillor!

Bless.

They told her she doesn't actually have to do anything, as hell will freeze over aeons before Labour get in in her ward. They just need someone on the ticket and begged her out of desperation. I hope they haven't lied to her.

LiviaDruscillaAugusta · 21/04/2015 12:54

Afternoon wenches Brew

Baddz Deep breath....

Hope everyone is well although I would recommend a mass trip to Specsavers, judging by the Aramis pics Grin

^^

Baddz · 21/04/2015 12:54

Just renewed my passport Madame.
My photo makes me look like I am on day release from a secure unit :(
Have been to the co op and got ds2 some strawberries. Also taken some clothes back to next.
Thats pretty much it so far.

LiviaDruscillaAugusta · 21/04/2015 12:58

You all sound quite productive!

I have been at work since 9.00 am and so far have typed three small documents and am now arsing about on MN and FB!

MadamedeChevreuse · 21/04/2015 12:59

sorry bads, unhelpful mother news xpost.

DS looks terrible in his new passport photo. He is 5 and beautiful. But somehow the shitty lighting has managed to make him look like a 15-year-old heroin addict.

Oh livia! You do make me laugh.

MadamedeChevreuse · 21/04/2015 13:06

Has anyone seen this video btw? It's a schoolboy telling the education secretary why he wants to vote UKIP. If it was satire it would be funny. But tragically, it's an actual product of our society.

MadamedeChevreuse · 21/04/2015 13:06

Fucking Katie Hopkins and Jeremy Clarkson have a lot to answer for.
