Have skimmed thread very rapidly - I also enjoyed season 2. Agree about the storylines re. women, hard though when the historical reality was that women had few choices and limited control over their own lives.

sparks - I find getting up as late as possible leaves me no room to get distracted by non-essentials. But I am beyond crap in the mornings, so probably not someone to take advice from concerning morning routines

Evening wenchery

Well. Car crash of a weekend. Due to a series of unfortunate events we ended up with my nephews and niece for most of yesterday and today. And to take their minds off unfortunate events I have been channelling a manic scout leader or similar for the last 40 hrs laying on constant action and entertainment so no one has time to stop and ask where their parents are. It worked a treat but Mr C and I are left in a state of total exhaustion. Dunno how Ma and PA Walton managed cos 7 kids for the weekend almost killed me. Plus you forget that smaller children keep 'needing' things unlike teens who only really want money and homework help. And lifts. Hmmm.

Anyhow, now exhausted ready to start a heavy week at work. I really need to ring fence me some wenchy time. But enjoyed reading all your S2 Adrian analyses (I've only managed to listen to 10 mins so far). Ref Elk and the chocolate coated TB this made me think for some reason of pouring ICE MAGIC on him, and set me off into a 1970s reverie about ice magic in that mountain top stylee bottle. I liked the mint one. Of course the prob with this is HE WOULDNT BE COLD ENOUGH FOR IT TO GO HARD .
