lanismum · 01/11/2006 10:21

oohh nice new thread
mimi, i didnt sign anything at the mothercare shoot? as it was her first job i didnt know that its usual to sign anything?

julie4travel · 01/11/2006 10:25

strawb have emailed you hope you understand it!

found out more on the holiday no flights included! i have to go to the travel show and claim my prize (hadn't intended going this year as i look like a bag lady afterwards)
basically they then pick names out of the hat out of the winners selected who has the free accom for 2. ranges from a week ai in brazil to, tenerife, zante, andalusia crete and majorca or an i pod nano

so will do a trek to london maybe take a small suitacase for the brochures they give and then claim it. Knowing my luck my ds will get a job on that day as we seem to have waiting so long for something - it could be like a bus situation everything comes at once!

ellesmum hope you feel better soon

boy its so cold and windy today!

OP posts:
ellesmum · 01/11/2006 10:34

julie - ooh hope u get to claim your free holiday, how nice!

mimi - i never had to sign any release forms for the first 2 jobs dd did but with littlewoods and junior i did so think it just depends on the company. hope ds teeth are bit better now!

mimi1uk · 01/11/2006 10:53

weird for me as that was the only one we did not have to sign, must just be a individual thing, i guess,
ellesmum, thanks for the well wishses for riley, he has a chest infection now, and is really going through it at the moment bless, him, he has four teeth still pusing and they seem to be taking forever to come through,

julie4travel · 01/11/2006 10:58

mimi hope your little man is better soon

juicygal · 01/11/2006 11:23

anyone use bizzykids? or have anything to say about them? my DS has been provisionally accepted by them....

strawberrymilkshake · 01/11/2006 11:26

Hi Juicygal >> my dd is with them and i think they are really good for us. I can only go on my own experience with them and for us they are a thumbs up.

Elles mum >> thank you

strawberrymilkshake · 01/11/2006 11:28

How do you mean provisioninally exepted i thought they gave a yes or a no.

strawberrymilkshake · 01/11/2006 11:29

Mimi sorry i skipped through messages hope riley gets well soon bless him

juicygal · 01/11/2006 11:30

well this is the start of an email i just got from them...

We thank you for your interest in Bizzykidz and have pleasure in confirming
that Alexander has been provisionally accepted by us.

The acceptance of your child is subject to the following:

  1. £94 set up cost (this is a one-off payment and NOT a yearly fee). There are no further fees payable up until a child reaches 17 years of age.
  2. Returning the attached model detail sheet

obviously i'm a bit wary of paying that much money if they aren't what they say they are

TIA
