We've had a lovely day, completely stuffed, cooking Christmas lunch went well and the DC have had a fabulous time. Our lounge looks like Barbie has vomited pink stuff everywhere though!!! I got dkny Apple perfume from the DSes, some star wars stuff for me ( a t shirt with 'hindsight: those were the droids you were looking for' on it and a rebel alliance necklace) and some lovely expensive Cath kidston handwarmers from ils (I wear fingerless gloves most of the time to cover up ezcema scars). Quite a few more things too , didn't think I'd get so much.

Toddler and baby also thoroughly spoiled. Toddler thrilled with a giant new tractor and jcb to add to his collection of vehicles. Baby happy with wrapping paper and sprouts (the odd child)

I'm now being a lady of leisure eating salted caramel chocolate snowflakes in bed.

Everything went smoothly, I ate too much, drank more than I usually do and bored everyone to death about the London trip.

I'm now thoroughly stuffed and will have an early night, ready to do it all over again tomorrow.

Evening all. Lovely day had and DC all loved their presents. I have come home with a few quails for lunch tomorrow which I am ecstatic about.

I got two books that I have coveted for sometime, two book shop vouchers - one I will use to buy a calendar ( if I don't create one myself) and a diary/Filofax things, and the other us Amazon and I love a good click. My dad cried at my parents gift which was a potrait of the boys. We all planned our summer holiday dates which always makes me feel good.

All in all it has been lovely.

I've just had a wAhaha moment we are playing Don't Share Your Teeth from Celebrity Juice, the category was TV shows & my mum said The Three Musketeers so I had an argument with her, with neither of us showing our teeth, as to why that was incorrect. Hilaire.

Apart from DS having a minor teenage sulk about getting the wrong sort of vouchers from BIL (who has form for disappointing presents), all has gone well. DSs feathers have been smoothed, I didn't burn anything & all other presents well down well. Phew. I even had both DCs in bed with me this morning whilst they opened their stockings which was a cute start to the day. I think I may have started a new Xmas tradition - DS got a jar of biscuit spread in the bottom of his stocking

Am sat watching TOTP 1979 now, everyone else is in bed & I'm enjoying the peace. DSIS, her DH & DCs are coming tomorrow, so it will be hectic but good fun.
