Has your pet got a 'human' name?

Just wondering really ...
I, personally, can't stand it when people call their pets names like Mary or Amelia ...
The other day we were at the park and a woman was calling "Samantha, SAMANTHAAAAAA!" in a rather panicky sort of way. So I was about to go and offer my services to help her look for her toddler when a bloody great Rotweiler came bounding out of the bushes ...
On another thread a lady wants to call her baby girl a name she already gave her dog so now she can't ....
We have always had non human names for pets - our cat is called Woody ... after Woody from Toy Story ... my parents had a great dane called Pluto and a ginger cat called Robinson's Golden Shred (Goldie to his friends).
So ... a reverse thread - instead of bizarre names for children (like Spike or Elmo, which are pets' names IMO) thread ....
What is your pet called and why?

Belle - named after the female 'lead' in Beauty and the Beast....and actually she is quite a comely dog..

Our chinese hamsters are called, Jade and jackie chan !

rabbit called snowy (was named before we got him and didnt want to confuse him !)
2 lizards called freddie and pip
3 cats- boo, princess and garfield
fish called rhubard and a weather loach that has never been named

A weather loach?! What the heck's that? A fish? Sounds too horrible to have a name. Just call it Loach.

it looks lke an eel , they are sensitive to the weather hense the name . just a cold water fish really but long and ugly
i had one as a kid but it went plop down the overflow pipe when i was cleaning his bowl out , i saw one recently and had to get another.

We have a hamster called Rosie.

But our cats are called Flower and Kitty (named by dd1). Flower is a boy!

pmsl its ok very small still its young and its on my stairs so it doesnt bother me at night

What do you mean it's on your stairs?! I was thinking it was out in a deep pond at the end of a huge garden. It's on your STAIRS? Tell me that was a typo.

We used to have aloach in our fish tank and it kept diving out so we caled it Hudini (cant spell)Trouble is it did it one day when no one was home and we found it all stiff on the side.
We have a cat called Samson, as in Samson and Delilah, because he has long black fur.

We have 2 cats, one called Bella and one called Jabs (jabba the hut), he was called Levi to begin with but Jabs stuck as he never stops eating and is fairly stocky lol

yes on the stairs , it lives with a goldfish . its only about 4 inches long !!

Max Power is my cat (named after an episode of the simpsons, dp wanted our son to be called it but we compromised by calling the cat it instead), hes the son of Charlie Cat and Suki and has a brother called Maurice

when i was little i had Peter-no-tail (named after a similarly afflicted cat in a kids movie) and his brother Nancy (obviously didn't know at the time and parents didn't have the heart to tell me when they found out so for a year Nancy lived life as a girl cat til i found out and he became affectionately known as Nancy-boy)

my cats that i got when i was 14 were phantom and mica, mica still lives with my parents

oh and my goldfish is called Imhotep after the egyptian god of medicine. my mate and i named him when we were stoned and couldn't remember what he was called for 3 months... kept remembering when we were wasted and forgetting again til we had the sense to write it down. hes almost 5 and has survived 4 cats trying to eat him, 5 house moves (some cross county in the boots of cars), being drugged by stoners on several occasions and being left in a stoners house for 3 months without being fed or having water changed
