Hi

OP posts:
julie4travel · 25/07/2006 08:29

mysonsmummy- u r right its just this morning he doesn't want to go saying the course is boring and his part is boring and not at all enthusiastic. i would have liked the experience to go down on his cv purely as he doesn't have the expereince, i thought everything would help him. hopefully he will enjoy today in teh end!

julie4travel · 25/07/2006 08:30

princessmel- did you submit to bubblegum by post and email? someone else did that with a different agency and got accepted with one and declined by the other. think it was mimi if i remeber rightly. i would go with the accepted part!

lindac · 25/07/2006 08:54

tavalana> bubblegum, childsplay, rascals and bizzykidz all said yes
i got not from NC BB and havent heard from kids london now bb have said no il start ringing them and go with who i think best dont want to keep putting off so that she will miss out on xmas stuff etc

julie4travel · 25/07/2006 09:26

lindac good luck in your decision, its such a pain trying to choose the right agency for your kids!

princessmel · 25/07/2006 09:39

Hi KL said no too!
Julie> I'm going to call bubblegum today and talk about it. I only applied by email once. I hope they don't say that it was a mistake. Hope ds enjoys his course today.
lindac> my dd got accepted by racsals, BK, childplay, and bubblegum too! Maybe they both have a look that these agencies like.

jurassic · 25/07/2006 09:46

Hello all, newbie here.

Advice needed please if you can, my 9 year old dd has been accepted by MOT and B+B.
I have no clue which to choose as they are both highly spoken of.

If anyone knows which one might be better for older kids please can you post?!!

I understand you may not know personally but even just an opinion would be great as I just dont know about either except they are both good.

Thanks in advance x

sorry posted twice by mistake! tell im new or what

mrratty · 25/07/2006 09:48

My daughter is with B&B and I highly recommend them. At all the castings/jobs we have been to their have been children from B&B, KL and UA.

princessmel · 25/07/2006 10:03

Hi Jurassic, no personal experiance of either but only heard good things about both. If I had to choose I'd prob go with BB.

Just rang bubblegum and had a really nice chat with a lady there. She said that as I've been sent a pack that its a YES for dd! She said that its been so hectic with the move that emails were sent out in a rush and thats prob where the mistake was made. ( I got a "try next year" in a email) She told me that they did some commercials last week and one was for RSPCA, How cute!

julie4travel · 25/07/2006 10:20

princessmel - my friend is very happy with bubblegum, she has been with them over 5 years before the original owner passed away, she had a slightly quieter time during that period (which is understandable) yet everything picked up. the website thing will be a great move for them aswell.

you have to go with your gut instincts, their fees are very low aren't they?

princessmel · 25/07/2006 10:26

Yes I think you do Julie. I just wasn't completely sure about the other people we got Yes's from, even though they may have turned out to be great. The lady on the phone seemed so friendly and was really helpful.
I think the website will be good for Bgum as its unusual not to have one these days. Fingers crossed it goes ok and dh says yes to this one! He's been even more suspicious than me.

julie4travel · 25/07/2006 10:33

princessmel if they had said yes to mine i prob would have gone with them due to my friend happy with them, its always better if you know someone with the agency etc. the office has been in the owners house so my friend said so its prob a good thing they are moving offices. her baby did next photoshoot about a week ago. they have been ringing her quite a few times to see if baby can sit up etc to see how baby is progressing etc to be put forward for other jobs. Her other two girls didn't get selected at the casting for next yet ones better than none!

Good luck with whoever you decide to go with. Rascals and childs play said yes to my kids when i applied a few months back.

ellesmum · 25/07/2006 11:47
