Hope you are all ok. Its such a shame when people start arguing ( I just read down the thread)

I had a problem with the computer over the weekend and I haven't been able to get onto Mumsnet Aaagh!!
My dd got a no from Bubblegum as they have lots in her age group but they said try again in a year. But on sat we recieved a Bubblegum welcome pack. I'm confused! We still haven't heard from BB or KL. If we def get no's from BB and KL we will go with Bubblegum but I don't want to commit to them till I've heard from BB and KL. Lots of people have said that BB take ages to reply. I rang them a week or so ago and they said that they see all the emails so I don't want to nag them. What shall I do?

I haven't heard of the love box weekender was it any good?? Bug Jam saw a horrendous storm on saturday, it was pretty awesome checkoutpicshere

was a good day apart from when i went on a ride i felt ill for about 2 hours after. most bands/artist we saw were pretty good apart from the feeling, they have to be the biggest pile of w*nk going. we boycotted them and sat dwn throughout their performance we should have gone and saw someone else but couldnt be arsed to move!!!

mykids, loving the sticker, good luck for the casting, and the job tomorrow, im enjoying the summer thanks, we live right opposite a lovely park and open air paddling pool, so lani gets to keep cool, we are off to reading at the end of aug, so im hoping the weather will still be nice, god knows how im going to cope with lani there, shes quite, erm, energetic, oh well, thats what her dads for

evening all- only popped on quickly tonight. i picked my ds up from his aladdin course all excited to hear how he got on. He told me he picked the charactor or the carpet! I thought i misheard him. Honestly that is what he is in the production. i thought the course would be a great experience for him and paid quite a bit of money to find him doing a non speaking roll of a rug! do you think i should say anything to the staff, surely there has got to be a better roll than that. i wanted something to go on his cv aswell how can i put he was a carpet! i almost cried myself telling my friend. we had previoulsy joked about he would probably be the parrott yet i think the rug is even worse!

and i bet he will get a great costume, and whats one of the first things you think of when someone mentions aladdin? the magic carpet!

lanismum- god only knows! it had to be my ds! we have always joked that he would end up a Turkey or something in a christmas nativity play yet i think this beats it. He is dead serious about it all though and really enthusiastic. they perform on Fri night and i have previously invited the gran parents! i suppose it will be an experience........, maybe it will show he can adpat to different parts or something

all in all how long was the b and b waits in the end 3 and half weeks, is anyone still waiting to hear on KL and Bubblegum?

Hi Julie, I'm still waiting to hear from KL. Got a Bubblegum welcome pack on saturday even though I got an email saying no and to try in a year. V confusing. I'm going to wait to hear from KL then talk to Bubblegum. The pack said that they have moved offices etc and that they've been busy so thats why the replys have been delayed.It had all the info in it about photo shoot, licences, etc.

Julie, forgot to mention the carpet. At least he's positive about it! Parts like that always get remembered by the audience as they are so funny. I was a donkey in a school play and loved it!
