there is companies that package and send out your ebay items for a fee. I looked into it a few years agao as didn't know if i should sell on ebay full time

Stuck with holidays as i think i can make more with that! she says!!!!!!!!!

my mum used to package everything up for me when teh listing was done, i just passed it over as she doesn't work , she took early retirement

julie4travel · 14/07/2006 10:32

Hi is anyone going to the SUFA shooting.

OP posts:
mrratty · 14/07/2006 11:32

Your poor husband, I hope everything goes well for him.
Didn't recognise you or your gorgeous children but I'm sure we will bump into each other. My girls have has quite a few mcdonalds in the last few weeks, so I need to try to keep them away from it for a while. Yours are a similar age to mine so it would be nice to meet up during the summer holiday.
The train to London is really great!

mrratty · 14/07/2006 11:33

Whats SUFA?

julie4travel · 14/07/2006 11:33

strawb- i presume not until next year????

she has submitted my dd for a feature film though on the positive note. doubt i will hear anything yet u never know

if i see anything on those sites will def let u know

Your daughters got a lovely personality so will do well its just grabbing those opportunities when they come up!

strawberrymilkshake · 14/07/2006 11:40

Do you mean your ds or dd, do you know what the film is for. Were so bored at the moment cant wait for something to come, I mean im not one of those people who sit by the phone but its just that 1 point we were really busy and at the moment theres nothing to look forward to.

I went to my sons leaving show last night they done Joseph and the tech dream coat he played The Elvis caracter he was absoloutly fantastic i have never seen him before and i was so chuffed as the deputy head came up to me after and said i can not beleave you have 2 very talented children it made me glow.

julie4travel · 14/07/2006 11:40

misdee sorry to hear on your hubbie, hope he gets better soon

julie4travel · 14/07/2006 11:43

sorry strawb - typing error my dd isn't with cs management (she isn't three till next month anyway), its for a 5 year old (lucky he is small for his age) doubt it will come of anything as no expereince yet. I am always hopeful though!

bet you were well proud last night. do they go to a normal school or specifically a drama one or something? just wondering. my ds goes to normal school

strawberrymilkshake · 14/07/2006 11:48

Misdee >>Love to you and your family hope your dh gets well soon.

Julie>> They go to a normal school would love to be able to afford to put dd into drama school ds would not want to go to drama school.

It dosnt matter that your ds has no experience sometimes they like children that are fresh. dd had no experience when she went for vo but they loved her.

SUFA Stand Up for Africa

OP posts:
mrratty · 14/07/2006 11:57

sha11 - Good luck for that!

I'm getting more and more dubious abou the Debbie Magee agency. On CM there is a message saying that the reason they are having a roadshow is because they are desperate to get models on to their book, in my view they would yake people on straightaway and would not ask people to wait until the roadshow. Another comment I saw said that they guarentee 4 castings in the first year! Not even the best agency in the world can guarentee that!!!!

julie4travel · 14/07/2006 12:01

strawb- fingers crossed then

I know its a risk with the debbie mcgee thing, i wonder they could be good yet it could be a while for them to get to the same position as other agents. I do like the non sole rep thing though and the pacakge they are doing seems qquite good, low comm levels. i don't know if the appoint with ts goes well then i wont even consider debbie mcgee if they dont want my dd they i may try them or go to the audition to see what they are about, normally you can judge if they are professional or not (she says!)

I would hope that they will do well yet we all have our doubts. maybe once their initial models are took on they will be stricter with requirements in the future? who knows

if anyone goes to the audition let us know how it goes

princessmel · 14/07/2006 13:06

Hi everyone,
Misdee> Really sorry to hear about your dh, hope he gets his heart soon xxxx

I feel a bit silly coming on here at the mo as we're still not sorted with an agency . Hope you all don't mind.

julie4travel · 14/07/2006 13:08

princessmel- we aren't signed with an agency here because i have been spending my time picking

so i wouldn't worry! its a great source of info

princessmel · 14/07/2006 13:10

Thanks, it is really helpfull and its nice to chat too. Off to tumble tots now....

melodyis · 14/07/2006 13:31

julie4travel- what agencies have you tried? My youngest is with Kids London and my older two with MOT.
