Hi all- FINALLY plucked up the courage to join this thread!

My daughters have been with CS Management for a year and we are VERY disappointed with Carole and the agency. Few auditions, poor communication, no photos on website for a year!

mimi1uk · 13/07/2006 14:51

STRAWBS how old is ds x

lindac · 13/07/2006 14:55

can i ask what agency cs stands for please

melodyis · 13/07/2006 15:03

CS Management

melodyis · 13/07/2006 15:04

CS Management- Centre Stage/ Carole O'Shea

julie4travel · 13/07/2006 15:11

melodis- i am starting to wonder aswell! did they promise to you that your child would be on teh site soon? they said they have had hiccups with their web designer yet it was supposed to be sorted last week and live on Fri. which hasn't happened!

thank god no fees have been paid out apart from photoshoot and spotlight

Strawb- you must be a very proud mum today

Strawb- have you tried applying her yourself with jobs on Mandy or NAPM etc as there have been a few come up on their recently , how old is your dd again?

marymay · 13/07/2006 15:23

strawberrymilk shake.one of the ladies running the casting we were at yesterday said school holiday are always a busy time.as it is when most off the department stores start doing their christmas stuff.

melodyis · 13/07/2006 15:40

Carole sent an e-mail round to everyone in March saying it would be up soon but she'd had hiccups. Even if she had one web designer drop out on her it wouldnt this long to update a web page!!! We've had very few auditions and have got more through NAPM and stuff from other contacts.

julie4travel · 13/07/2006 16:04

melodis
normally i can get my website amended in a day!

Maybe she hasn't a good web designer!

at least you are getting work elsewhere

strawberrymilkshake · 13/07/2006 16:29

Mimi >> ds is 11 years old.

Julie >> i havent applied for anything for dd myself whats mandy. Can we apply for our own stuff do you know

DD has been with cs since April has been to 2 auditions 1 she got was for vo the other audition was for the Bill which she didnt get as they went for someone older but the director said they will keep her in mind for future. She was also put forward for commercial but didnt hear anything back. I always phone Carole when i want to know something and they have always been good so far.

Maart >> how old is your lo

strawberrymilkshake · 13/07/2006 16:31

Thanks marymary

strawberrymilkshake · 13/07/2006 16:32

Julie >> dd is 9 but could be classed as 7/8/9 as she is petite.

mrratty · 13/07/2006 16:40

Shoot went well today, although they didn't use her face!
We live in Welwyn Garden City so ar fairly close to some of you guys. It's probably easier to go to most jobs/shoots from WGC than where we livied in London.

julie4travel · 13/07/2006 16:41

strawb- yes you can apply yet put cs as your agent to contact if they wish to book

Hi,
Sorry I didn't reply sooner Pimms but we've been out at ds pre school teddy bears picnic. Bit of a nightmare, as we were leaving house ds dropped bowl of food we were taking all over front garden, then he cut his toe ( had no shoes on cos of bouncy castles) then he got bitten on the nose in a row over a bike! He had it first then got off to open a gate and someone else jumped on quickly. So he was standing next to him crying and the boy on the bike bit him. The Mum didn't say anything, just walked off saying " you can have it now". Apart from all that he had a fab time! Oh yeah I won some nice botanics stuff in the raffle.

A meet up would be good Pimms. Where abouts in St. Albans are you? I collect a boy from Maple mon-thur. What schools are your lo's at?

The question about getting to jobs/castings was to everyone by the way.

Trying to cook 3 kids teas now.

princessmel · 13/07/2006 17:24

Hi Julie, where are you living now? Sorry if you've already said.
