I'm in the Midlands and I'm just being nosey as to who else lives in the centre of good ole Blighty - I know there are a few others (suew,lill & ailsa) but anyone else?

Oh well - guess we look for another date, unless you fancy a meetup for 2! I can do next weekend (anytime except Sunday midday), but then only the Sunday evening the one after (16th), and nothing for the 2 weeks after that.

Just a thought Gill - How far are you from Fosse Park ( in driving terms?) It's about 25 mins from here.

I was just wondering if all else fails/ as a short term stop-gap if you fancied meeting up for coffee/lunch in M&S there one day? Tuesday I can do it without dd - or of course some weekends - tho Saturdays are probably best avoided cos of being crowded.

Afraid I'm working during the week - though a Tuesday mid afternoon in the next two or three weeks might just be possible as I nominally work from home on either Tuesday or Wednesday each week, but it's fairly flexible as to exactly which hours I work, so I often do start early and then have part of the afternoon off. I'm afraid Sunday daytimes are out for the next 4 weeks because of various other commitments.

Well maybe we should consider what days at the weekends we might be able to do over the next couple of months and if anyone else wants to join us they are welcome - but we won't count on it!!!

sunday 27th might be a good one for me, depending on how am adjusting to life with baby.

Anyone want to make a commitment to the 27th? Or shall we start a new thread under the "Mumsnetter meet-ups" heading and see if we get more response there?
