Aillidh Christine Kinnaird died of complications from treatment for acute myeloid leukaemia at around 11.30 on 8 July 2012. She was surrounded by family and friends and most of all, love.

Cause of Death: Respiratory failure. Antecedent Causes: Interstitial Pneumonitis, Bone Marrow Transplantation, Acute Myeloid Leukaemia. 23.25, 7/7/12. No need for a post mortem. She has been removed to the Chapel of Rest.
