Bubblez - after my last email earlier Scallywags has just replied back asking for me to take my daughter down there so they are recruiting for youc childs agegroup although the fees are quite high. My son just had the 1 job with them last year.

bubblez · 22/03/2006 15:07

oh ok then... well im sure il hear that they already have girls that look like her..Smile

my dd has brown curly locks and brown eyes, shes very white and doesnt look mixed race... (but she is) when i finally let her out in the sun she'll brown up a lot i think (maybe i should tell them this)

anyway i just think it'll be a good exp for her and something that she can be proud of when she looks back.... Grin

Mythumberlinas-Well done to dd! Good luck and have a great shoot tomorrow :)

Imagine · 22/03/2006 17:49

Congrats on the job tomorrow! :)

For those who've been following our decision-making process, I've decided to go with Elliott Brown for a few reasons: 1) location (they are the closest agency to us) 2) consistently good feedback from other mums 3) no fees to join 4) they offered to represent both me & my son and this way maybe we'll get shoots together which should be fun :)

I think ds will be interested in acting more than modelling so I was happy to hear from Mad Dog Casting today, they are registering new applicants this month and they want to represent DS as well as DH and me for TV, commercial and film work.

So a good day, all in all :)

Good luck to everyone who is going for jobs/ castings :)

Imagine · 22/03/2006 17:52

If anyone is interested their website is www.maddogcasting.com/

perfumelady · 22/03/2006 18:29

Imagine so will you have to go and meet with maddog? i must admit i have looked at there site in the past but i thought you had to be over 16 as they ask for n i number etc and i couldn't find anywhere on the site that mentioned kids where abouts on the site did you find out about children or did you just submit photo?

Imagine · 22/03/2006 18:34

perfumelady -
Yes that's what I thought too so I didn't apply DS just myself (and my DH applied seperately). I sent a family picture with my application just because they asked about children on the application form. I guess they liked him. On the phone she said that they do have a children's agency too. My husband spoke with them so I don't know the exact details yet. I will ask him later.

Registration day is the 28th (this month) so we're going up to the agency then.

tinkerbellchelle · 22/03/2006 20:16

imagine u say elliott brown is closet to you... we are nr oxford are you :)
Mad-dog put my friends LO forward for some extra work before as she was registered and think they like it when you have family etc. Good luck to you all maybe we'll see you all on the screen soon :)

CYAN > if u are about did u have a good day?

Nemo1977 · 22/03/2006 21:37

hi all following on from asking about agencies last week I sent Ds pictures to a couple of people.
One has got back to me today but I dont know where to go to find out if it is any good. They are eurokids and adults agency in the north west. They claim to have provided the 2 toddlers in coronation street and a few other roles and ads etc. How can I find info about them. They are also asking for £99 plus vat is that the normal rate?
