Not a prob strawberry,if you go on there web site and click on individual kids it will show all the print work that kid has done.Mot work for loads of companies,our casting was for a shopping centre,but they do magazine covers,fashion spreads,catalogues etc.Most mums on here who have been to castings have met kids from MOT there so they do get lots of work.

I applied my ds to Rascals last week and got a yes a few days ago. They were quick to reply. Maybe email or phone them so you have a def. answer. good luck.

Haven't been on for ages and haven't caught up yet...had the flu and now I find out on Friday whether or not I have Weil's disease. DD had chicken pox, DS had a fever. I can't stop coughing and have not left the house (except to fetch DD from school) in nearly 2 weeks. First time I could sit for any length at the 'puter.

B&B sent the model book photo to me today. Must admit I am not crazy about it. DS's fringe is out of control and I have seen better smiles. Worried that if I don't like it, others won't either. (Can't even figure out how to post it here.)

Hope everyone is getting on well. I think there have been many castings mentioned. Fingers crossed all around!!!!! :)

Noticed the "Cod" thread. I seriously worry about that woman.

Going off to take a shower and attempt to get out of my PJs for the 1 o'clock school run.

Just to be clear Rascals said yes to my LO but we have decided to go with another agency, which charges no fees to join and has a very good reputation.

Imagine - Thanks for letting me know. I rang Rascals and they said normally they reply either way within an hour of receiving so I have re emailed them again. They said possibly my photos may have been too big so they didn't receive them. Lucky I have chased some of these up.

luxuryholiday sometimes if your photo size goes over 100KB the agencies don't open them. good job you did phone them. good luck with your choice

Reading this thread with a lot of interest >> patzcrafty seems to be going mad, if you ask me it seems she is trying to save her sinking ship.. It is well known by all the regular posters on here that she is booker, mum007 and the one whos apparently come back from holiday in gran canaria?!? her persistance may or may not pay off, she is totally inconsistent, defensive and blatant.

because someone mentioned her choice of vocabulary and use of language she has suddenly gone dumb on us.... spelling paranoid and hindsight wrong. not knowing who BK were, come on after going on aboutb them for weeks and being with BK SHE does not know who they are?

its clearly a case of the pot calling the kettle black. look into your own name and try to find out why at least 75% of kids on there are not so bizzy! Think of changing the name or your own come to think of it, so you can come on and post under various guises. Even if the guy was from IKids what made you so angry that he liseted your/your kids agency as 2nd class? i dont think i would bat an eyelid if someone slated my kids agency which is MOT by the way as they speak for themselves and have no time to post on mumsnet, unlike you (who should be busy booking)

also getting sick of these long winded posts and chat between the same person! about crap..clogging up our computers and making it difficult to keep up with constructive advice as from mykids, trace and others whose kids get work so they can tell us about it. So Patty just go away and leave them all to it as they were so I can continue to read and see whats going on without having to read through drivel and I do not ever post >> always read every couple of days.

This may have been asked before but I've never seen this thread before now. Does anyone know of a modelling agency based in or around Sheffield. They all sem to be based in London and not interested in anyone who can't travel there. Would be grateful for any advice.

bumpkinsheffield- there is DK Models www.dkmodels.net _ i don't know anything about them yet I found them in my kids search yet its too far for me

rascals emailed me back within the hour saying yes- sole agency, fees quite high similar to scallywags 155 subscription and 125 portfolio. Worth me chasing them up after all

MYKIDSMUM - your post of today at 9.48am is spot on! Its turned into a boxing ring here rather a pleasant chat thread! I don't see that Cimbom said anything that hasn't been said before and I would personally agree with his 'big agencies' names (and NO i don't work for an agency I work in the stockmarket!)
I really don't care what others think of our agency as long as they are good for us thats all that matters!
No wonder the likes of COD find this thread so funny!!!

hi i know that i am very late to this convo but i was wondering if there are any child modeling/acting/comercial agencies that any of you would recomend.... been trying to go through and pick some out.... but that is working out a little long winded...

so any recomendations?? dont want to go with one that charges really nor one that just solely wants dd on their books if pos....

sujestions are v much appreciated..

Bubblez,MOT,Kids london,Urban angels,Bruce and brown,very gd agents,proven track records,minimal or no fees.Smile
