Hi all :) back from casting we didnt meet up with friends so back nice and early.

It went well on the list today there were about 20 babies from what I saw... I wasn't able to see the agencies represented. We had a photo and then he had to sit on daddys knee and be filmed as its for a tv commercial. We had to pretend to bounce him up and down like in a bouncer. They are looking for 4 babies so fingers crossed.... :) not sure when we will find out but will let u all know when we do :)

tigeryuan · 17/03/2006 13:43

tinker & mythumbelinas - fingers crossed for you lo!!
shall - thanks for the link!

perfumelady · 17/03/2006 13:47

jmum6 · 17/03/2006 13:55

Hi all just been reading some of your threads I've a 6 month old son who I would love to have ago at child mod etc. But have not got a clue how to go about it? Any tips/ideas?

alliebaba · 17/03/2006 14:09

hello! send lots of pics to all the agencies we list at the start of this thread and go from there. keep us updated and we'll help all we can

jmum6 · 17/03/2006 14:11

Ok will do. Any particular agencies?

perfumelady · 17/03/2006 14:15

jmum6 go down to near the begining of this thread posted by 2manypimms 2 march 1:43:49pm, is a list of agencies and web addresses, most of them, you can email a photo name, address etc good ones to start with are mot, bruce & brown, kids london and urban angels they all get lots of work. personally i would try those four first, see what replies you get then go from there.

Imagine · 17/03/2006 14:15

Does anyone have a 3 yo child with Urban Angels or Kids London?

I would like to know if they get a lot of work for this age group, as they seem to be geared more towards school-aged children for the most part?

jmum6 · 17/03/2006 14:19

Thankyou - have found them. My God there's hundreds!! Will definitly try those 4 first though. Have you all had success?

tigeryuan · 17/03/2006 14:19

Imagine - i thought only 2 yrs old is hard to get works.

mykidsmum · 17/03/2006 14:19

Although my children are not 3, they were when they joined Urban Angels and they did get work, hoping my two and a half year old still gets work when he hits 3 Smile

perfumelady · 17/03/2006 14:22

imagine my dd is with u/a although they do get work for all ages i'd say a lot of there work is for pre-school. there are a couple of mums on here from kids london which may be able to advise you.

Imagine · 17/03/2006 14:24

perfumelady, thanks! That's very helpful.

Imagine · 17/03/2006 14:26

mykidsmum - thanks as well. :)

mykidsmum · 17/03/2006 14:28

No worries, think Urban Angels next intake is around may time.

Imagine · 17/03/2006 14:34

jmum6 - my son was a baby model with Scallywags. He did 1 shoot when he was 6 months old for a magazine and it was great fun. We moved abroad after that. They are a good agency, but very big and quite pricey to join.

We are now back in the UK. My son is 3 yo now. We're looking into agencies. Ds has been accepted by a few, still waiting to hear from others. This thread is very helpful in deciding which one(s) to join. :)

Imagine · 17/03/2006 14:36

mykidsmum - yes, I say on the U/A website that they are accepting new applicants in May. I really like the look of their website. They are sole rep though right?

We've already been accepted to Elliott Brown (both me and him) and would like to go with them. That excludes us from joing a sole rep agency though.

Decisions, decisions!

mykidsmum · 17/03/2006 14:39

I love them, but yes they are sole rep.

mykidsmum · 17/03/2006 14:40

I love them, but yes they are sole rep.

mykidsmum · 17/03/2006 14:40

Sorry about that, don't think you'd be quite what they are looking for though Wink

perfumelady · 17/03/2006 14:42

this is one of those situations where no one can tell you what is the right thing to do, as differant agencies suit differant people, if i was you i would put my self with elliot brown, and test the waters for your lo with other agencies, see what comes back then make your decission

Imagine · 17/03/2006 14:47

perfumelady - yes, that's what I am thinking. Thanks for the advice everyone.

Imagine · 17/03/2006 14:59

mykidsmum- Grin that should have been excludes him from joining a sole rep agency. LOL!

tigeryuan · 17/03/2006 15:11

tinke - so, you won't join ik now, right?
