laurenholly - go round to your grandmothers and tell her you're disappointed in her attitude - at least then you would have made the effort.

laurenholly · 23/12/2005 22:36

It is not about longevity.

I can not put my finger on it , and will not be drawn any further.

I could have changed my name for this, something I have never done ( except when it is obvious e.g LGJ or Mrs Gordon Ramsay).

I make no further apologies.

karlos · 23/12/2005 22:38

laurenholly · 23/12/2005 22:38

followthestarlover · 23/12/2005 22:39

I am not an expert on MN politics but it has occurred to me that all those advising Laurenholly to ignore LGJ and LGJ to ignore laurenholly etc etc might be better served by themselves ignoring LGJ. Sometimes trying to help solve a fight actually perpetuates it.

LadySherlockofLGJ · 23/12/2005 22:46

Starlover

Get over yourself, I had a view point, I posted it, it was not popular, my point is we have plenty of name changers on here, who change, cause controversy and then reapppear in the morning as though nothing had happened. I had a view, a fairly benign view, and yet I am being jumped upon from a great height.

FairyTaleinNewYork · 23/12/2005 22:46

i am so sorry laurenholly, i introduced you to mumsnet, the first ever post you got parped and now this sorry.

misdee.

baublerock · 23/12/2005 22:49

"ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz"

"Yawn"

Yep - really constructive point of view LGJ - not rude at all, I have no idea why you were jumped upon from a great height?????

followthestarlover · 23/12/2005 22:50

it wasn't benign to laurenholly! it was downright rude, and pretty offensive in parts too!

you've been "jumped on" as you put it, because it was a horrible thing to do.

Janh · 23/12/2005 22:51

LGJ, if that's the extent of your viewpoint, it really wasn't worth posting.

tamba · 23/12/2005 22:52

You could shorten LGJs post to "parp" would that have been ok?? It means the same thing? Loads of people parp on threads and dont get this reaction...

LadySherlockofLGJ · 23/12/2005 22:52

In that case you will accept that I am about to retire, and will engage no further in this nonsense.

Janh · 23/12/2005 22:53

I suggested that an hour and a half ago, tamba.

tamba · 23/12/2005 22:55

So you did

merrySOAPBOXingday · 23/12/2005 22:55

Tamba - that isn't what parp means. Parp means that the thread is on a topic that the poster has strong feelings about and will be drawn into a long discussion if they post them, so they type parp instead.

Parp doesn't mean, I'm not interested in the thread, quite the opposite actually!

Anyway, what an unedifying thread to read. I think LGJ that those types of comments which start on MSN are best kept for MSN! I really think they have no place on MN!
