GAVE MY NANNA HER XMAS PRESENT CUZ IT WASNT ENOUGH SHES NOT TALKIN 2 US

MY NANNA CAME ROUND THIS MORNING TO GIVE US OUR CHRISTMAS PRESENTS SHE ASKED MY BOYFRIEND TO HELP WITH HEAVY BAG I SAID HE CANT CUZ HE WAS IN CAR CRASH ANE GOT CRACKED BONES IN BACK AND NOT ALLOWED 2 LEFT HEAVY THINGS

SO I GIVE HER HER PRESENT (A BOX OF BLACK MAGIC CHOCLATES) SHE WENT HOME THEN PHONED UP MY MUM LATER SAYING SHES NOT HAPPY WITH WHAT I GOT HER SHE ALSO CALLED DP A LAZY SLOB CUZ HE DIDNT HELP HER AND CUZ OF THAT WE GAVE ALL HER PRESENTS BACK TO HER

AND NOW SHES NOT TALKING TO ANY OF US HOW CHILDISH IS THAT

I like LGJ and consider her one off my mn/msn friends and she is never rude to anyone without reason and always thinks before she posts.. so there must be a reason for what she posted (although im not clear on what it is )

Anyhow, about your nan, My bil is alot like that, none of his pressies are ever good enough for him. Last year he was moaning that he bet his birthday pressie would be rubbish so I told him he was getting nothing.. I didnt buy anything and he hasnt complained since

(could someone please tell me how to spell the long version of pressie cause ive never been able to spell it - can you tell? lol)

Hi LaurenHolly - I just looked at your other posts as I hadn't seen you around much - your girls are beautiful! Did your DP have a nice birthday other than nanna being a pain? Looking at your other posts you seem lovely so don't be offended by the minority, fwiw I don't like text speak either but that's just my personal opinion and I'm rubbish at texting being an elderly 29 years old - takes me too long

Just make sure you have a great christmas with your lovely girls!

I am pefectly fine, I found the original post jarring to say the least taking due consideration of the the fact that it was all CAPITALS.

However, I just found the launch into, she said, I said, he said, he STOLE this,speak boring, and also the whole post makes no sense.

because if that's OK behaviour, then i'm going to be giving a lot of Christmas presents back!

Except my family wouldn't expect me too, because they know that I give them as best I can, even if it's frankly cr*p.

That's called the spirit of goodwill and is very popular at Christmas. The fact that your nana has none is not your fault, please don't let her upset you. it's very bad form indeed to ask for gifts back.

I hope you have a good Christmas and can put this behind you as the one blip in a good season. Please ignore the MN snipers: we all get them from time to time, it takes practice to ignore it. How good we are at English is irrelevant on here, it's supposed to be a support board. I can't even see what i type so goodness knows how bad it is, but that's no-one elses business.

I let my boredom get the better of me.

However as people were weighing in behind this thread it occured to me LH, that you were not particularly nice to Papp recently, this was not my motivation, but I guess as they say, goes around comes around etc.,

whos children are looking foward to chrismas lauren is holly is too young to understand at the moment as shes only 1
