Is it her first one? Keep it Smile

Sputnik · 18/11/2010 21:36

Not actually watched too many zombie films. Was Dawn of the Dead the one with the shopping mall and the Hari Krishna zombies?

Sputnik · 18/11/2010 21:41

She swallowed the first one! Although the tooth fairy wrote a letter claiming to have found it in the woods Wink

Francagoestohollywood · 18/11/2010 21:56

Yes, the Dawn of the dead is the one set in the shopping mall. The hare krishna might have been in the original one, directed by Romero, ages ago.

Keep it, keep it! I kept ds's first 2 teeth, but I can't remember where I put them Shock

Sputnik · 18/11/2010 21:59

Yes it was from the 70's IIRC. The Hare Krishna zombies stuck in my mind for some reason, shame they didn't make it to the remake then.

Sputnik · 18/11/2010 22:01

So what did you do with the others? I am all for pre-emptive decluttering, but can't really bring myself to bin them. I might try composting.

Francagoestohollywood · 18/11/2010 22:05

I think one was kept by my mother, who nearly swallowed it together with the pringles she and ds were eating (don't ask!). The others I think I threw them Blush

In the Romero one there is also a zombie checking out a public phone Grin

Rosa · 19/11/2010 13:14

I would like to hide in the toy section adjacent to the restaurant please should we get attacked.......
Snot a bit better thanks to ( no kidding) a whole bottle of aqua di sirmione in aerosol (and Oki bustine) as I couldn't find the spray things so I sat there with my Xmas cookbooks in sheer bliss !!! I am going to the gym tonight as I am thinking a bit of sweat and walking might help as well. Thankfully I only have a slight ouch in my face / head when I bend over now instead of a eooooowwwww.

Francagoestohollywood · 19/11/2010 14:51

Happy to hear things are improving rosa.

I've had a very busy morning, and I've just got back home... and I have to go and pick the dc in 5 mins. uffa!

Sputnik · 22/11/2010 19:48

That sounds nice Franca. And what Gio said.
Very wet here, Gio, were you not washed off your balcony?

BananaGio · 22/11/2010 21:10

we are covered quite nicely by the balcony above which sheltered us and the red wine helped us believe it wasnt cold! was a very British display of resilience in the face of shite weather Grin- dp had no choice but to join in.
anyone watching Saviano?

OP posts:
Francagoestohollywood · 23/11/2010 09:05

Gio, sounds like you had a great weekend with your cousin, I second wine and balcony all the way.

My birthday is on Thursday. It's 40 Shock. We went to Saluzzo in Piedmont. Basically we ate a lot, which is what 40 yrs old people seem to be doing all the time Hmm Grin

We have FOG today!

I'll watch Saviano on youtube later, I've already watched Corrado Guzzanti, have you seen him? I adore Corrado Guzzanti.

Rosa · 23/11/2010 12:26

Hang on to your fog please we have a couple more early mornings so could just do without it. But we have had aqua alta for 5 days now its a right pain !

Francagoestohollywood · 23/11/2010 12:39

Acqua alta for 5 days Shock.
How's minirosa doing at nursery now rosa, is she settled now?

Bucharest · 23/11/2010 12:41

Marks place because I'd lost you and waves frantically. I shall be back!

Francagoestohollywood · 23/11/2010 12:41

Ah, forgot to say, that I've been incredibly efficient, and bought Christmas presents for dd (she wanted a bunk bed for her dolls, and I managed to find one!). Now I need to sort out the rest of the family.
I was thinking to get my parents a subscription to FAI (similar to National Trust). Do you think it is a nice idea?

Francagoestohollywood · 23/11/2010 12:42

Bucharest, indeed! Stop shopping online and come and gossip here Smile

Bucharest · 23/11/2010 12:44

Have you seen Amazon.it is about to be launched?

I've been (via the pediatra- dd has tonsilitis and conjunctivitis) to collect another hoooge bag of tupperware this morning, and my M and S decorations arrived yesterday.

Tra-la!

Rosa · 23/11/2010 12:44

She is ok thanks - she goes in pretty happy. They have had an outbreak of boca mani piedi at the moment so I am keeping fingers crossed. Mind you she is still coughing more that I would like ! She is still having tantrum moments at home sometimes I am at my wits end with her I just hope they improve.... The aqua normally is about 3 days ok its only up for an hour or so but 5 days in a row plus its been weekly since mid october - always round school run time as well. But on the big one last Friday DH had dd on his shoulders and I had minirosa in a back pack . The buggy has had its wheels washed and CRC spray so many times now. If this winter continues like this it will rust for sure !!!

Rosa · 23/11/2010 12:45

Amazon it - About time ..... SOrry about dd poor thing..

Francagoestohollywood · 23/11/2010 12:52

But will Amazon.it sell English books/dvds? I think I'll keep using Amazon.co.uk for our English fix and shop for Italian books at Feltrinelli, you know, to support the Italian industry Grin

Yes, this winter has started with a bad foot. Rosa, I'm glad that minirosa has settled. As for tantrums... I'm afraid it is her age... it will pass, I promise Smile

Bucharest, sorry to hear dd is under the weather. But Grin tupperware. How are you liking the M&S decs? I've just seen those paper lanterns and I'm tempted.

Rosa · 23/11/2010 12:54

Just had a quick look and they have lumped the books together in sections so childrens are all together and there are like 12.000 they are not in age groups yet. toys they only have Mattel , FP and lego . I am after the dolls house on Amazon Black friday deals but I haven't managed to get anything so far as they only have a couple or I am just too slow !
