Goodness, we seem to have run out of space on the other one!
I shall assume that we are still in the same premises as for Tea Room Ten for the moment until wiser people tell me otherwise!!

Bonsoir, racing.

"House hunting in Brittany"? Are you looking for a bijou holiday cottage or are you thinking of joining Thumb as a tea room emigre?

Would you care to join me in a night cap? I have a rather amusing (yet unpretentious) gros plant here.

RacingSnake · 22/11/2009 21:43

Noooooo! Just a bijou holiday appartment in a town.

What is a gros plant??

MadBadandDangerousToKnow · 22/11/2009 22:01

at a bijou holiday apartment anywhere.

Gros plant is a very dry wine from around Nantes. I note that the oenophiles here describe it as thin and inferior. It is true, I admit, that it tastes better in France - I suspect that being driven for hundreds of miles in a car boot which is hot enough to fry an egg on is not beneficial.

UniS · 22/11/2009 22:18

Leon- fab film, NOT family viewing . too much ruthless killing. has some funny and sweet moments too.

Any one brave enough to join me in a mug of Huckleberry white cocoa drink? DH bought it back as a present from oregan, ODD very odd, its blue, a hot sweet blue drink with a vaguely fruity milky taste.

MadBadandDangerousToKnow · 22/11/2009 22:25

Well, after a thin and inferior white wine, a steaming blue drink is the obvious next step! And, on the basis that one should try everything in life except incest and morris dancing (although actually I wouldn't necessarily rule out morris dancing), yes please to the huckleberry white cocoa!

UniS · 22/11/2009 22:36

one huckleberry cocoa coming at ya. I'd give morris a whirl, it looks quite fun, all that clattering of sticks or swords, not so sure about bells and hankies tho.
There is ladies morris side locally, think they have a waiting list and as I don;t really know Left from Right I might be a liability with a big stick in my hands.

Have you seen teh Bishops morris side? VERY flamboyant they are. Mellors came in late that night looking a bit hot n bothered, wonder if he was having a go.

daisy99divine · 22/11/2009 22:37

Umm, I would love to join you all, but will eschew odd wine and blue drinks in favour of a cup of tea

Mary love the bishop stories, and can't you see the poor Bishops (who are now huddling in the stables next to Earl Gray) are holding up a little banner saying "Meet Mery, our New Best Friend" ...

UniS yes, DaisyBoy said he found Aristocats too scarey. He's not Claude Van Damm material I fear

MadBad Leon is a great film. When Natalie Portman was not too afraid to act. Favourite but very violent. As is Ronin, I felt the latter was a little too much...

Racing while a bijou flatette in Brittany may well be a good idea couldn't your persuade M. Racing that you need at least 24 hours in paris too???

UniS I am now caught up with ideas of Unicyclists doing Angelina Ballerina. I always thought the Royal Ballet deserved medals for Beatrix Potter. I mean jumping around like a frog is bad enough (in an exhausting and not frightfully good for one's joints sort of way) without doing it with a hundred weight of froggy papier mache on your bonce....

UniS · 22/11/2009 22:41

LOL at unicycling Angelinna Ballerina. Quite some freestyle routine. Have seen lots of Pippi longstockings and more love struck young couples that I care to remember but never yet a mouse in a tutu on one wheel.

Maybe Daisy boy and uniboy could join each other in being not very brave about things on screen and hide together behind the sofa while lazy town is on.

Thebishops have put up a new sign, it says " Mary, we like you a lot"

MadBadandDangerousToKnow · 22/11/2009 22:56

UniS, what magic mushrooms berries did you say this drink was made from??

daisy99divine · 23/11/2009 00:01

This is really weird

I would swear that I had just seen the NMBs dancing around with tutus and papier mache animals on their heads....

Worrying, it really is

I'm to be

MaryBS · 23/11/2009 08:48

LOL to you all! Am feeling a little cold in this mermaid costume, and the bishops are getting a little chilly too! Could we have some hot chocolates and croissants please?

amberlight · 23/11/2009 10:04

A mermaid costume?

Hot choc and breakfast goods for you, the Archbish and the Bishops, aye.

As a confirmed non swimmer, I am rather worried about the superfluity of water around the place. Hence the water wings, rubber ring, floats, life jacket and the fact that I have firmly attached myself to Mellors, who is, of course, a qualified life guard.

MaryBS · 23/11/2009 18:11

A tip RacingSnake - don't hold him too tight, rather let him pull you close to him...

I myself am not keen on water, although I can swim. I did go white water rafting once, at an articifical course at Nottingham. Scared the life out of me!

MadBadandDangerousToKnow · 23/11/2009 19:53

Wow! What interesting costumes we are all wearing. But look. Mellors has his dinner jacket on (accessorised by Racing, who is clinging to his neck in distressed damsel mode) and is serving drinks in the Grand Hall. What shall we have?

MaryBS · 23/11/2009 19:54

How about some sambucas, warm us all up?

RacingSnake · 23/11/2009 20:14

Since we are slowly approaching time for another Move, I recently saw this tea room (with lollipop bay trees) for sale. There is a garden, a very picturesque village, a rude giant with no clothes on ...

UniS · 23/11/2009 21:30

I've got my snorkel and flippers handy in case teh water level rises above teh cellar. NMBs looking good in speedos are having a great time diving in from teh to step,

Moving the tea rom to right next door to teh rude man of Cerne Abbas eh? or shall we just get mellors to run us up a chalk figure n teh hill side visible from that wondow there. I'm rather fnd f teh white hrse f uffington me self. I did hear of a short term fgure on a hill round here, a plough horse, cut by horse drawn plough in red soil. seem to have missed some i's and o's in that last sentence, sorry. I'm on the netbook with tiny keyboard. DH is busy inputing music note by note on teh PC so he can get it to sing him the bass part of teh carols he has to learn for the temporary christmas choir. hes joined and found hes the only one not already an experienced chorister.

Hello there everyone
What a week it's been! We had a lovely day in London on Saturday at Winter Wonderland and tea in Belgo, and a quiet Sunday. Work is mad this week and I've been on the phone to my Mum this weekend as she is one inch from being flooded (she's in Ireland)so not had much time for relaxing and internetting.

And it's my birthday today . So I went to a meeting this morning and then to meet some Mum friends in Starbucks. Now I'm back in work and about to go to another meeting. What joy! Was given a lovely new ipod touch this morning so will have fun playing on that later.

MAryBS, how are things now? How was your trip to DLP?

MadBadandDangerousToKnow · 24/11/2009 13:09

Happy birthday, gymbunny!

Here is the birthday cake of requirement. The champagne is on ice!

Thank you. Cant say much on a public forum. Lets just say there was confrontation and hurtful things said.

Mellors has a lovely singing voice...

daisy99divine · 24/11/2009 16:52

oh Mary hugs for you and DS have virtual comfort without compromise!

Gymbunny Happy Birthday!!
lovely bunting and glad weekend was fun

Racing like the Cerne Abbas tea room - thee is a lovely new horse at the mouth of the tunnel too, which I like.

Oh my goodness, here comes Mellors wearing nothing but a smile, painted in chalk and the NMBs all daubed in wode - I guess they are ready for the move

And goodness me, MadBad - the grace! The style! The teeny tiny splashes!
