Just had a lovely cuppa and bowl of veg soup, keeping the toast for tea going to have beans on toast tonight with a bit of cheese on the top .
Just put a load out on the line , l am pushing my luck 🤣.

I have mince on the cooker for rea @DirtyGertiefromno30 Trying a creamy tomato saucey thing. Got all that cream cheese to use up so put half a tub in plus a parmesan heel for a bit of flavour. Tastes ok so far. Ds2 tried it and approved. Will do swirly pasta with it.
Sun still shining but I can hear the wind!
Dishes all done so sitting down again! Oops

Had my beans on toast enjoyed them too , had to finish the washing off in the dryer but only took half an hour which is much less than from wet . So l will call that a win 🤣. Having a cuppa now going to watch Traitors tonight if the leccky stays on we shall see 😁.

Sun is shining here and we have not had a gust of wind overnight thankfully.
Rained all night but dry now . I can't believe it tbh . Apparently another storm on the back of this one called Storm Buelo but it's mostly the North and Scotland, hope you will be ok where you are @Thebookofcarolagain.
Just going to take my Mum's friend to Aldis for her shopping. I will return 😁

It's awful here now windy as hell , l spoke too soon 🤣 hope it doesn't get any worse! Looks like you'll be taxi service for your DS later then @Thebookofcarolagain. Maybe you needed that extra sleep, your body obviously wanted it! Hope the weather cheers up for everyone, although I'm not holding my breath! ☔️😂
Been to Aldi took Mum's friend home , put my shopping away and just about to have some soup and a nice cuppa 😁

I have rain coming in my letterbox and probably under my door. Towels in situ.
Took ds to work and popped into coop for essentials.
Having a cuppa and biccie to warm.up!
Ds is gonna try get a lift hone but will let me know. The park is really booked for this weekend and the complex floods in extremely wet weather! He isn't looking forward to it.
Flipping freezing, fleece over me and not moving till I get my tea!

Oh blimey, sounds absolutely dreadful there with you @Thebookofcarolagain😳 . Hope the towels are doing their job . Your poor DS, hope he manages to get a lift home and doesn't have to battle through all that weather and the complex doesn't flood 😱. Definitely stay wrapped up in your fleece with your cuppa and biccie, you won't catch me moving in weather like that either . Stay safe in the warm.

Still battering down here, even harder than before and its pea soup.
Need to get up and nake my tea. Theres a little mince left from yeaterday which will do me. Might have it with baked potato?
Gonna shut the curtains it might as well be dark now its so foggy.

Crikey @Thebookofcarolagainit sounds absolutely awful there with you. This weather here really is all over the place 🙄. Mince with a baked potato sounds lovely, nice and warming on a night like this. Get those curtains shut, make yourself a nice cuppa and settle down for the evening. No need to go anywhere in that pea soup outside 😱.
Dd2 has had a cold all week , l bought some Covid tests and she's only got it 😱. At least Mum has had her COVID jab so she's ok . Hey ho such is life 🙄

The mince on my pot was delish. Theres some left but ds1 says he isn't hungry so will leave it. Ds2 can have it later if he wants. Got some dark choc caramels in coop, yum.
Have put heating on for an hour its bloody freezing 😡 None of the damm windows are sealed/fit properly now.
Hope your Dd is better soon.

Bloody water is coming in under the glass lip on the door. Constantly trickling in. 4 towels down! Have baking pans under them to hopefully catch it as carpet is soaked. 😡

Oh bloody hell @Thebookofcarolagain what a nightmare! 😱 .If you’ve got bin bags, could you put them under the towels to protect the carpet a bit. Hope it eases off soon it sounds awful l am so sorry.

Had an epiphany @DirtyGertiefromno30 and have hauled out painting sheets from the depths of cus. Have jammed one up against the door with a dustpan to catch the water before it gets far down. Fingers crossed.
Been for ds2, place flooded as predicted. Have his trousers snd big coat in wash as he was helping maint' and security guys with sandbags, clothes are filthy and shoes are wet. Will need to put heating on again to dry coat and shoes for tomorrow.
In jammies now and sod it I am having a coffee.😄

Well done you @Thebookofcarolagain thinking outside the box! Fingers crossed the painting sheets do the trick and save your carpet from any more water. Poor DS2, sounds like he’s been working hard helping with the sandbags, bless him. Hope his clothes and shoes dry out in time for tomorrow. You definitely deserve that coffee in your jammies now! ☕😄 What a blooming awful day you’ve had and it's not even over yet 😱.

Sheet seems to be catching it @DirtyGertiefromno30 will swap it when I go to bed. Gonna be a long weekend of washing!
