Just pottering here. Thought i had left enough mince to nake meatballs yesterday but it looks a bit sparce today. Hmm what to do?

Back from seeing Mum who was fine there thankfully. Weather has improved l have shoved the washing out in the vain hope it will dry a little bit 😁🤞🙏.
Hmm that mince needs expanding with some veg @Thebookofcarolagain but l know your boys aren't keen . Can you turn it into a Spag bol, cottage pie or lasagne ? 😋
How is your back ? Hope it's better today , pity you haven't managed to get out in the garden.

Absolutely freezing.
Was sitting on sofa with a fleece and heat pad on after housework.
Not enough for a full meal but might make ds2 a double burger when he gets home. Ds1 is having his own spicey chicken strips. I am having beans and sausages with poached eggs on toast. (Ds1 can have the beans i leave too)

I got up off my bum and made a Lasagne using Aldis Quorn mince , it tastes ok l mean it's not meat but it's alright 😁. DH hasn't tried it yet l am not going to tell him it's Quorn mince see if he can tell 🤣

Ha ha sneaky @DirtyGertiefromno30 😄 Hopefully he likes it, it looks good. But yep quorn doesn't taste the same really.
My tea was pretty darn good and I had a scone too.
Am in my jammies layered up😁 Doing no more today.

I am trawling you tube and got stuck on a USA woman doing sweet recipes I have seen her before. She and her husband are quite funny. Most of the stuff looks delish but some seriously weird stuff they make! Fudge, many kinds but using marshmallow fluff! Yeeuuuwww! 'Bark' which is just melted choc absolutely covered in sugary bits and pieces must cost a fortune! (Although she gets a lot in sales and does Living on a dine meals etc.) I would make some of it though...Xmas....

popped to the market and the library this morning. I had to go to my Mum's with Kim Clam and put the hoover over and dust while he did the grass. I do it a couple of times a year to make sure it's kept clean and tidy there . Dried a load of washing on the line and did loads of cleaning at home too . Just been to Aldi for a top up shop . Hope everyone is ok and having this gorgeous weather 🤗

Afternoon all. Sitting at McDs waiting on kids getting something for themselves.
Done shopping just need to get home and put it all away, oh joy.
Went to Lidl as ds1 wanted large jalapeños to make some stuffed just but no luck. Nobody seems to have them. Oh well have cream cheese to eat and poss make sweets with 😉
Got a few bits, almond croissant for me, huge bag of basmati rice (aldi never has them now) decent ham, korma paste, fancy lettuce, tortillas (forgot them in Aldi), . Was not tempted by everything else!
Got Victoria biccies in Aldi. They aren't all choc but theres more biscuuts than Aldi ones.

Sunny but the wind is fierce and cold. Supposed to rain today, was a quick shower after we came out Lidl but nothing here.
I need to attack the freezer and portion up the meat to put away. This adulting business is getting old...me no like.

Coffee and a croissant sounds lovely, enjoy! 😁 I'd be tempted to put my feet up for a bit before tackling that freezer tbh 🤗. Just put a ham and veg casserole in the slo cooker for us tonight . All leftovers , carrots , leek, sweet potato, gammon, bit of Spring greens all cut up and shoved in the slow cooker with a Knorr ham stick cube . Fingers crossed 🤞

And leave your spelling alone, we can all understand you perfectly well! Funnily enough l am trying to edit mine and they are not letting me either l have to delete from the bottom of my message 🙄. Right, come on, drag yourself off that sofa and get it over with, then you can settle down again and not feel guilty! 😂
Yes l thought to myself shove it all in the slightest cooker l might just liquidise it and turn it into soup just yet. Watch this space 🤣

Freezer stuff done, didn't need to play tetris so didn't empty everything out. Tortillas made not too shabby, just made the taco spice blend and bunged it in.
Dishes all done up to date. After tea its jammies time for me.

Got more of those choc bourbons, might have one with my cuppa.
Got a bag of Riesen salted peanut dark choc caramel to try, bleurgh taste of nowt. 😡 Not recommend.

You were right , l turned the mixture into soup and it was yummy even DH liked it and there is enough for me for tomorrow 😁😋, very filling too 🤗

Might pop on Skyrim for a bit. Was trying to sell my excess stuff the other night...i need to keep investing in businesses so they have more money each time I visit and still theres stuff they cant afford! How did the mages get those robes at that price??? Maybe they just enchanted them themselves i suppose but still. Some of the stuff I improved are worth thousands so unless i sell for less i am stuck with it. 😁
Ds1 told me about an outside shed somewhere where there is a mask and if you have all the priest masks and put that mask on you go back in time and put all the masks on the busts you get a fandabidozy mask. Might have a look but not keen on actually wearing it as they are creepy evil.😄 Decisions decisions😄

I know i love a good bowl of home made soup. Sticks to your ribs. You can tell a good soup if you try some cold next morning and its delish. I used to pinch a spoonful of muns soup every time i went into the kitchen 😄

Lol @ you pinching your Mum's soup! My Mum used to make a lovely pea and ham soup and it's definitely better the next day, shame I can't have crusty bread with mine now 🙄.
Nevermind it could be worse and l couldn't have dairy, now that l would really miss 😭😁.

Yes dairy is in a lot of things. It's bad enough I can't have it in the evenings 😭😄

The stupid game has 3 extra lines of adventures that you add from the 2nd disk and can follow and I should be able to give more money to charity and also give my kids pocket money but its not showing up.😡 maybe its just on the later Xbox but I definately did it when i used to play. Maybe I need to retry the Xbox 1 again. (OMG start from scratch again???😱).
Have prepped all the veg for tea. Boiled potatoes as i fancy potato cakes for a change. Having boneless pork chops which I will do in oven.
I am sneezing my face off for some reason!

Only just come back home . Nothing g wrong. l have been with Mum all day because she had to have her arm dressed , her flu jab and the hearing aid staff came to do impressions on Mum's ears so she can have new molds for her hearing aids . So it's been an all day we there . Still all fine now thank God 😁. Just had my soup and it is even nicer the next day 😋.

Tattie cakes were a fail. Not the way mum used to do it but thought i would try it...nope poor ds2 he had his before he went to work and said they were too floury. So binned them ds1can have waffles and i am having a baked pot. Pork was fine though.
Will do them the old fashioned way next time.

Car is going to garage on Monday as I phoned him about the hand brake which isn't reliable. Only used the car a few times since it was fixed tbf. He said I forgot to say that might happen as its all new so needs to bed in. He will check and adjust it for me no charge.

Been watching Zac on YT. Insane! How do people think they can just spend tens of thousands of $s and not pay it back? And student loans in USA are astonishing! The percentage on the interest is unbelievable.
Ds1 got the Cadbury strawberry and cream choc to try...bleurgh very sweet, hint of strawberry (synthetic) not recommended. I dont really buy Cadbury now (except i might get a pack of the Xmas snowballs 😄) as since it was taken over the quality and ingredients have plummeted. Palm oil and less cocoa, less milk. Not choc now.
Need to do dishes then jammies time😄
