🤣 I had to look that up @DirtyGertiefromno30 as wasn't sure what it was. Did you know it means angry in Italian due to the heat from the chillis? No wonder you couldn't finish it.😮
Pork turned out very nice in the end so can try again some day. Used Char Sui paste to marinade then gave a quick fry with onions then added water before I put it all in oven. (Added carrots for me nobody else will have them!) Mash and peas for ds1 and me.

Having a maple and pecan slice with a cuppa now.
Listening to my historian guy talking about the folklore of 'vampires'. Goes back thousands of years, not 'vampires' as we know them per say but the same underlying idea. Funny how in ancient times they were mostly women...nothing changes.

Ooh they are beautiful @DirtyGertiefromno30 . I have another flower coming out at front but the ones in top bed aren't out yet. My little dahlia is still surviving up there tho, can see colour on the buds, whoohoo.
Dishes done am sat down. Not gonna get changed in case ds2 phones for a lift home.

Have pottered a bit but not in mood for much today.
Have jobcentre tomorrow so will go to coop for bread etc then.
I got nectarines and peaches last week at Aldi. Nectarines are good but peaches are a bit tasteless tbh. So annoying.
Just making macaroni cheese for tea, easy peasy and tasty. Have garlic bread in freezer so will do that too. Might just get pizzas in coop for tomorrow night. Might see if they have haggis, not had that in a while. Just get fed up trying to think of something tasty and not repeating the same things too often. (Although I also like just good old home cooked mince etc 😁)

Adulting really is a PIA @Thebookofcarolagain 😂 . Macaroni cheese and garlic bread sounds lovely though, proper comfort food! Shame about the tasteless peaches, so annoying when they look good but have no flavour. Hope the Jobcentre goes smoothly tomorrow and you get everything you need from the Co-op. Haggis sounds good too, and you can’t beat good old home cooked mince in chillis , bol, pies and on its own 😋.

Tea wasn't too shabby @DirtyGertiefromno30 . Having my last pecan maple slice with a cuppa now. Made tea early cos I was starving, only had a couple of biccies with a coffee today.
Don't even have a pile of dishes to do as I did thrm as I went!

Dd1 & Dd2 have bought 2x TGTG bags from Greggs for their tea . It was jam packed with food . I calculated it was £40.80 worth of food for £5.98 .
Could not believe it 😱
And l can't eat a morsel of it 🙄

Wow that's a great haul @DirtyGertiefromno30 bet they are chuffed to bits. Wonder if ours does it although its a drive away it would be worth it. Such a shame you cant have any though.

Typical @Thebookofcarolagain! All that palaver just to discover the pension forecast isn't even that great 🙄. Sometimes you wonder what the point of the bloody site is! 😂 And depending on your circumstances, Pension Credit can actually leave you better off than you'd think compared with having a decent pension. Makes you wonder why we bother paying into them! 🤣

Yep and that opting out business if you lose a job and cant afford to keep paying into a pension due to whatever circumstances you're screwed. I noticed that on the site. Bit of a gov scam there maybe?

Yep the story was good. The vamps in Skyrim are rarely nice or reasonable. They were initially made by a daedric prince who likes to control humans. They still act like vamps as we know them taking lives, taking thralls, living in secret groups or alone etc. This gave a different perspective from one of them. Not glorifying them, bit of a sad perspective really.
I am daft it was hotcross buns not teacakes I got, don't know why I wrote that but yum anyway. 😁

I clearly can’t be trusted with these appointments @Thebookofcarolagain🤣🤣. I did manage to have a cuppa, so all was not lost! I love hot cross buns too, so you’re forgiven for calling them teacakes 😂 I’ll have to find a GF version though, I’m not missing out on those! 😋. I don't fancy your chances with those Skyrim Vampires 😂😱.
Just made a chicken salad for me for tea , burgers and some new pots and boiled eggs for DH . I know strange combo boiled eggs and burgers but he fancied them 😂
