Not much to report here. Was ridiculously warm and humid yesterday, much more pleasant today. Actually clouding over now, but it's like the skies have forgotten how to rain!

Absolutely loved I, Claudius too @Thebookofcarolagain! Such a brilliant series with an amazing cast. I'm recording it so I can watch it all again properly. You're right though... what a bunch they all were! 😂 Enjoy

I often wonder how everyone's getting on too @Thebookofcarolagain& @FridayNighFeeling, and hope life's being kind to them all. I did have a bit of a worry that they didn't like me interfering with you all and that's why they left , l had a stern word with myself🤣. It's been much more comfortable today after yesterday's awful humidity. We could really do with a proper downpour though , everything's looking so dry now. 🤞

Been busy here today, my feet haven't touched the floor 🤣.
So up early at 6.30 to take Dd2 to the station . Then her car to the garage fir a service , then took my Mums friend shopping to Aldi . Then had a cup of tea with them they are terribly upset about their carers poor things . Then entertained the water board contractors who did the tarmac over the leak . The leak is still ongoing . The tarmac ppl knew ,l told them and they said it happens all the time and to ring up tomorrow and report it again 😱🤣. It's so ridiculous l had a good laugh with him about it . Anyway had a cuppa, haven't had anything else nothing to eat because l had to get ready to see my GP re my Coeliac/tachycardia/bubbles l feeling my chest and my
Ferritin /thyroid/iron tablets /blood tests you name it 🤣.
So got to take the iron every other day, get retested in for Ferritin /iron /Coeliac and thyroid in October.
Phew 😱 I am now up the station waiting for DD 2 to come home lol .

Its a lovely day here but the wind is freezing and strong and totally spoils it. Fed up with not being able to enjoy what little sun we have had. Was roasting last night when its too damm late!
Gosh you have been busy @DirtyGertiefromno30 . I cant believe they paved the road over a bloody leak and it's normal! No wonder theres no money!
Just been pottering here doing odd jobs that keep getting put off.
I have to take ferrous fumerate daily. I started on twice a day but after a few mothsi asked about it and got tested and now its cut down. Still a total pia to deal with the er 'side effect'! Hope everything else was ok.
I have roast in oven, well its out now, waiting on roasties and putting yorkies in even have chestnuts ds2 nabbed from cupboard. 😄
Am starving!
Yes give yourself a good talking to. If you hadn't fitted in here we would have bundled you up and taken you somewhere far far away🤣🤣

The contractor told me how bad it is , his words were 'they are useless
sometimes the leak is still like a waterfall' and he wasn't joking 😱. He may have been slightly exaggerating about the waterfall l know but he was exasperated with the way things are.
I suppose it's very frustrating for them trying to complete a job that's just impossible to do and having to do it anyway 🙄.
Your roast sounds amazing 😋 roasties, Yorkshires and chestnuts too! Hope you enjoyed every mouthful. 😋

It's quite funny here with me being newly diagnosed with Coeliac because l am buying new food to try and we are having taste tests 🤣. Some of the stuff is vile 🤣.

Afternoon all.
Nice enough this morning but just waiting on the rain now. Clouding over and rain expected from 1pm. It's not even warm enough to put my toms out today.😡
Took a mad turn while I was faffing in kitchen and cleaned the top oven. Well its 90% clean there's a stubborn bit at front but will do that again tomorrow, that oven cleaner would strip your lungs! Even the rack is clean! Wheres my medal? 😆
Don't have to worry about tea thank goodness plenty of chicken left. Will do waffles for kids and baked pot for me.

Finished my story last night @DirtyGertiefromno30 . Very unsettling. Started off innocently enough but became more concerning then dropped straight into madness near the end. The guys that write these are so clever.

Shame it’s turned cloudy and not warm enough for your Toms though. Typical! 🍅 At least tea is sorted with the leftover chicken, waffles for the kids and a baked potato for you. 😊

Glad you enjoyed the story, although it sounds like it got properly bonkers by the end! They are so clever at taking something innocent and gradually turning it into complete madness. 😂

Well what a difference in Mum today thank God, she was fine and we had a great morning with her and she loved it. I even managed to do her hair bless her. She ate and drank so well for me and l did a good pamper session for her and she was marvellous. Gone to sleep now so we left . Saw my Mum's 2 sets of friends while checking on the house. The one couple the wife is Coeliac and she gave me lots of tips bless her yay! I am just on the phone to the pharmacy clerk re my Coeliac stuff so hopefully l can order it in and get it sorted out for once and for all !

Ordered my Coeliac stuff from the pharmacy. 😱 God what a nightmare. 4 tiny brown loves , 16 brown rolls , 2 boxes of cornflakes , 1 box of porridge, 1 box of fibre flakes , 4 pizza bases for a month l had to figure out what l was going to get for the month . The stuff is like cardboard it last for months the expiry dates are 6 months and more later 🤣. Oh well hey ho it's fine now will just have to see what turns up 🤣

Have forced myself to do kitchen and back entry floors. Hate doing it for some reason.(probably cos it never looks clean anyway) Washed the recycling bin too. Can i stop now? Bathroom floor can wait till tomorrow 😄
Rain hasn't arrived! Was cooler then warm it can't make up its mind. Still cloudy so just teasing us again.
Ds2 got himself something before work as did Ds1 so i am just gonna do my own damm tea. Getting peckish so will do it soon.
