Hope you get a dry day to do the front, the foxgloves will look lovely by the wall. And the mystery bulbs made me laugh 😂

Ooh Monty planted foxgloves too @DirtyGertiefromno30 😄 although his were bigger than mine but mine need out thier pots as they are too big. They grow fine in the wild so will survive.
Have batter in fridge for toad in the hole. Have sausages and bacon to use up, perfect.
Now for a coffee and Beechgrove.

Tea turned out pretty tasty, ds2 approved. @DirtyGertiefromno30 had a berry ice cream for pud.
Dishes were done, showered, jammies on and plonked on sofa pdq after tea. 😄
Started watching a horror on Beeb before i started tea then never got back to it. Cba now😄
Aww poor Wales, oh well theres always next time.
Need to get shopping this week coming. My list is growing. Damm. Need to go to chemist tomorrow too. Then pay garage bill😱

Paid my bill 😭 went to chemist and got bread and steak & haggis pies at bakers and frozen chips in coop to go with them for a change.

Been out front bum shuffling across gravel digging out plants. Have half filled a bag and there's 4 times as much still to go😄 Came in for a cuppa and painkillers as back and shoulders aren't happy. But I want to get a fair bit done in nice weather.

Done another 20 -30 minutes out front. Still haven't reached the wall! But had to stop, my back isn't happy.😡 Hopefully out again tomorrow. Having early tea and starving.

Been busy , tip run , Mum , cleaned bedrooms changed beds dried the washing on the line yay! It's been a lovely day here fair dos .
Just had tea, gf fish , chips and beans and done enough for tea tomorrow it was nice tbf 😋. I was dreading g the batter on it but it was fine .l couldn't tell the difference tbh. Having a nice cuppa now 😁 😋 ☕.

Dishes done, and in my jammies now for the night. Need to write out my list for tomorrow. Ds1 coming and Ds2 is coming as he is off. Thankfully they get thier own treats ! 😄
When digging out my big pots to put toms on i discovered another bag of Halloween sweets so def got enough now. Need to think about Xmas stuff to spread it out. Definately cutting back this year though.
😆 at Dh reluctantly giving up his old clothes, 2 bags!!!! He seriously wants to wear things till they are really done doesn't he? Thought I was bad😁
Still sunny but it got away quite chilly earlier on.

Another bag of Halloween sweets 😂 you definitely have enough now! I need to start thinking about Christmas too, definitely cutting back this year. I was eating christmas food for 2 months after 🙄.
And DH says to me he can use his old clothes for gardening in 😂 so that’s his excuse for keeping them! Two bags gone though he was not keeping them. l was determined 🤣.
It’s definitely getting chilly now, feels like Autumn has arrived now but it has been a beautiful day today ❤️.

I have a few t shirts, a hoodie and joggers I use for painting and heavy gardening work. They are years old😁 My normal t shirts are all fine but have had them years. I got new summer tops last year in charity shop as some of my summer ones were getting a bit washed out but the rest are fine which is amazing. Only drawback is I have no excuse to buy new ones 😁 I got a couple from ds as he grew out of them and they are perfect! (Ones a Skyrim one i got him😄)
Might ask for a new tshirt for Xmas 😄
Ooh my back isn't happy which is really annoying. Tomorrow I might just stick to pulling the sunflowers they have finally finished flowering.
I have my telephone appointment with hosp Dr tomorrow morning so will go shopping after that then hopefully get into garden.

I think you definitely deserve a new T shirt for Christmas @Thebookofcarolagain😁 .Especially a Skyrim one, that would be perfect for you 😂. You’ve done really well with your clothes lasting so long though ! I’m the same, if they’re still decent I will just carry on wearing them! Why not indeed.
Sorry your back is playing up, it’s so annoying . Hopefully it’s a bit better tomorrow. Pulling the sunflowers sounds like a nice job though 😁. Hope the hospital appointment goes well and you get on alright with the shopping, at least the boys are with you too bless them .

Just chilling with my heat pad on watching old FMS videos. Nice recipie for apple bread I might try. Makes me laugh when she makes jam or marmalade and emphasises its not been canned so MUST be kept in fridge. How did we all survive in UK without 'canning' all our jam? 🤣

It really does never end does it @Thebookofcarolagain! 😄 Hope you’re nice and comfy with your heat pad. I used one on my Mum Saturday she had terrible knee pain and she found great relief from it .
That apple bread sounds lovely, l have never heard of apple bread before 😋.
We must have been incredibly lucky to survive all those years eating homemade jam from the fridge without properly canning it! 🤣🤣

Bloods done , market and library done and friend visited . Home now, had a cuppa and crackers and cheese for dinner , got a gammon joint in the slo cooker and l am wrapping a couple of presents up 😁
Typical weather here too @Thebookofcarolagain bit of everything except snow 😂 . Hope the consultant call went well and you get some answers. Good job getting everything ready, shopping list and all 😱😂. Hope the washing stays dry too! Sorry your back is still playing up, it really does sound like it’s driving you mad. Hope it settles down soon.

Phew shopping all done and put away. Got home to washer having stopped and not draining! Emptied it out and opened the filter. Some thick wet fluff in it but not that much. It's spinning so will try wrung out washing again in short wash.🤞🤞🤞 Got a pile of towels used to catch all the grotty stinky water to wash too. Have no idea why its smelly I use the self clean cycle, put vinegar in each wash. No avail.

Shopping not as bad as I feared despite getting compost and a small loaf tin! (And a half price bag of Allium bulbs, only £1.49😉)
Got a gammon joint to cook for cold meat instead of buying tiny packs of 4 thin slices of decent ham at £2.50 - £3.00 a pop. Forgot to get golden syrup but that's all😁

What is going on with this site today, slow to load, keyboard keeps vanishing, cant correct words!
Very cloudy now looks like rain coming. Damm.
