Yep a good cupboard clean out is great for the soul😁
I have washed down windowsill, counter tops, sorted out room for the tray, watered seedlings, washed table, tom's are on there now with the bowl of succulents and fruit bowls. Put away old seedlings tubs. Even washed the frying pans that keep being left😱 Put recycling out, washed all the damm glass jars to go to recycling next trip.
I am bloody done!
Trying to get ds2 to move himself to get something to eat before work...talk to the wall!

No wonder you’re bloody done @Thebookofcarolagain, you’ve done loads! And washing those frying pans that keep getting left would have finished me off 😱😂. Hope DS2 gets something to eat before he goes to work, you need putting your feet up now! ❤️ Colder and cloudy here now.

Ate all my leftover Chinese (so delish) and I was stuffed to the gunnels and had no room for a hot cinnamon swirl and ice cream 😭 Will have to wait another day. Torture!
Ds1 had a pie he got in Aldi with beans. Dishes done, kitchen tidy.
Jammies on, heat pad on (back is grumbling after all my cleaning etc today) I am done.😃

Afternoon all.
Nice ish day here. Washing is out, pottered around dead heading etc. Spent about 20 minutes trying to get the damm airfryer basket clean. It gets washed every time its used but there are so many slits that collect oil that bakes brown. Used a scrubber and elbow grease and its better but will never get it all off still some little dark bits. 😡 You just cant get in all the nooks and crannies.
Need to do bathroom next but coffee first, my back is complaining.
Got chicken breasts in oven to cook for later. At least its there if ds2 decides to eat before work.

Definitely have your coffee before tackling the bathroom, especially if your back is complaining. At least the chicken is sorted for later, so you can take it easy when you’re done. That Dion programme sounds good. It’s hard to imagine people living like that. Makes you realise how lucky we are ❤️l have cleaned the 2 fridge freezers out and cooked a gammon ham and boiled carrots and sweet potato for mash , going to have it with broad beans and gammon tonight 😋

I do hope that back is better BookofCarol - so debilitating and painful trying to do anything . Re basket in airfryer - have you seen the liners that you can buy for them - can get throw away ones , or reuseable .

Just had my head down and getting through 'jobs with a time limit ' here - I seem to be up against it on a few fronts , but I think I'm going to crack it , - all stuff that I suppose isnt important in the main , just to me!
DH and I did get out today for a walk as the weather was lovely today , but I should have been gardening really ! We did stop at the garden centre to get the bulbs , pansies and primroses to fill pots for spring for me , and the DD's , so thats a job for this week too to add to the list 😀
Other than that , plodding on sorting my material stash so its not falling out of cupboards , and getting my spare room and ready to go for when my lovely sis in law comes to stay in a couple of weeks .

Gosh planting spring pots already! I still have stuff to pull up once its finally passed. I need new bulbs as some of mine didn't come up but I can't remember which ones 😁 I should have dug up the ones that did as soon as they passed! Oh well...
I havent seen liners that you can reuse in the shops I will look harder.

Your walk sounds lovely, and I definitely think stopping at the garden centre counts as gardening 😁. You’ve got plenty to keep you busy with all those pots and getting the spare room ready for your lovely SIL. I’m sure she’ll appreciate all the effort you’re putting in.Hope you get through all your time sensitive jobs without driving yourself mad. Sometimes the things that aren’t important to anyone else, matter to us, so they still need doing. Take care lovely 🤗

Spring pots already! You can never have too many bulbs though 😁.
I hope you find the reusable liners too. I will have to tell DH, he might know about them already but if not we are going to Home Bargains this morning and he will be in the gardening dept like he always is foraging for bargains 😂.

Got myself off sofa and managed to weed the little border on the stupid raised area, planted 6 foxgloves and added some compost to that end. Only had a large pot full as i can't lift the bag up there. Will add more another day. Pulled borage and a load of toadflax out of bottom garden on my way back. Oh well at least i dont have to water them...sorry Monty not standing in rain watering! .😄
Tipped out the pot i used and got bulbs out to keep for later. Think one was a snowdrop not sure about the rest, there's a few baby bulbs in there too.😁 hopeless!
Have more foxgloves. I want to put them at front against little wall. But I need to pull out all the selfseeders then pull back the gravel to make a trench and put compost/soil in it first. 🤞i get a good day to do it.
