Oh well apparently ds did make himself a bacon butty! Didn't realise.

They all had such a good time making it despite the crazy hard work @Thebookofcarolagain. And the behind the scenes people are so talented too. The amount of detail that went into everything is amazing.
Typical 😂 .You make one sandwich and suddenly everyone wants bacon. Glad Ds2 made his own save you a job 😊
I love hearing the actors talk about filming details as well. It makes you appreciate it all even more.
And honestly how does Stephen Colbert look younger now? 😂
Watching Auf Weidersehn Pet DH likes it and l don't mind it . Cup of choc soon 😁☕

I meant he looked so much younger watching him on The Hobbit than on his current show. (Which is almost finished😭😭😭) (But i thnk he is better looking now!)

The petrol here is 5p dearer a litre than in Sainsbury's in Cwmbran so l figured it would partly pay our petrol to go 🤣.
That's my excuse anyway 😁.

I’d probably leave the cupboard too, then if he needs access you can always have a quick shuffle about 😁.
Typical though, sunny one minute and you’re wondering how long before the clouds roll back in 😄
Just on the way home now going to have a cuppa and a bit of toast when we get in , rained and rained here, sick of it 😱

Tap is sorted now yeah @DirtyGertiefromno30 He tightened up all the nuts to infinity and tightened the hose connector but that didn't really work so he got another connector from his van that sits higher up the tap and yeah no spraying!
I have tried other connectors but none of them worked so very pleased.
Of course he waited till I gave up (my eyeballs were floating) and i had to nip to the loo before he knocked the door 😄😄
Still weird weather here warm/cold/sunny/cloudy every 20 minutes. It keeps threatening rain but nothing so far.

At least you can use the tap now without getting soaked 😄. Typical timing though, they always seem to knock the second you give in and dash to the loo 🤣
The weather with you can’t make its mind up by the looks. One minute warm and sunny, next minute feels chilly and looks ready to pour down. Glad the rain’s held off so far though.

I went out and put my fern up in top border will see how it goes. Pulled all the grass and Sticky Willie's out that poke through the fence and a few grasses that are growing through the damm plastic! . Then did the rest of fencing and dug a damm thistle out the raised area bed.

Then it started to drizzle but hasn't come to anything.

Hopefully the fern likes its new spot. Sticky Willies and thistles are relentless little beasts but l do like their names, they make me lol 🤣

Still haven't hoovered 😄 am making chicken korma for tea. Fridge needs cleaning out too. Grrr.

Korma made and eaten @DirtyGertiefromno30 😋 had a toasted teacake too. Aldi has different coconut milk the low fat stuff is really runny, dare I say watery. Hmm wont buy that again once the other couple of tins are gone. Will have to thicken them up next time. Fridge done. Might run hoover round after my cuppa......
But might just do my dishes and get my pjs on ready for Chelsea😉

Lovely to read the updates .
Where to start ? Had a full on few days , still not quite finished the DIY at DD1's , but pushing hard to the finish line . ( well apart from tackling all the weeds in the gravel at the front 🙄) DGS bedroom is now nearly done - just 2 little shelves left to put up ( he has loads for his Lego builds .) . Bathroom all done , still a bit of sorting in the kitchen , and a hanging basket bracket to put up . DH is making a shed door for her little shed , and we have all her pots to take too. I want to make a curtain - its an awkward shape window , very long and narrow landing window . Looked at ready made roman blinds , but none go long enough . So I have checked in my stash , and I have a nice piece of curtaining DD1 likes , so I have bought some curtain tape with rings on . Never tried it before , but hey , can only give it a go !
I was lucky to see and get 4 really nice dining chairs going for free on a local fb page , they will go nicely with the 2 she has , and she has a gifted table from DD2.
I have been hardening off all my plants this week , and I see we are due warm weather , so hopefully all will be well. I have hung up my basket , ( DD2's goes tomorrow ). Dahlias are moved to their summer spots too . I have planted a first batch of leeks in the veg patch , along with climbing french beans . Potted up tomatoes in the greenhouse . Still lots to do garden wise here - its been sadly left to its own devices . I am just glad not to be lugging heavy pots in and out the greenhouse !

Wow, you’ve really been flat out @bookbook bless you no wonder you’re feeling weary 😱.
Sounds like DD1’s place is really coming together though , nearly there now, just those finishing bits and it’ll feel like a proper home. The Lego shelves, bathroom, kitchen sorting and shed door all sound brilliant, lots of progress everywhere.
Love the idea of making the curtain from your stash , awkward windows are a nightmare, but that’s a great way round it and will look much nicer than anything ready made.
Great find on the dining chairs too, and lovely that everything is being pulled together from different places.
And your garden sounds like it’s had a proper reset , Dahlias out, tomatoes and beans in, leeks started. Must be a relief not lugging everything in and out of the greenhouse now the threat of frost has gone 😁.
Definitely a lot achieved in a few days time for a well earned sit downand a nice cuppa 🤗☕.

Gosh you have all been full on again @bookbook . You are really knocking that house into shape. The curtain sounds fab, custom made, much nicer than anything else.
Busy in the garden too. You do do much i dont know how you keep up! I havent even planted my dahlias yet i am thinking i might just go for it this week. Wish I had a greenhouse!
Well I caved and hoovered @DirtyGertiefromno30 . I saw crumbs on living room carpet and a couple of bits at front door that were driving me mad so I just did it. I am def done now. In pjs and ready for Chelsea.

I never buy low fat anything @Thebookofcarolagain because it's just not right is it?

I got diesel next town over too @DirtyGertiefromno30 as it was about 4p cheaper and I was going that way anyway. It's since come down here too so DH filled up too.

Just caught a bit of Chelsea - wish I had more time to drool over it all.

We came home to see our local garage had put the price up another 1p in the space of 3 hrs so it was 6p a litre cheaper in the other town , makes sense to fill up if passing cheaper garages @FridayNighFeelingwell done your Dh👏🤗. I wish you could linger on Chelsea it's been absolutely gorgeous 😍
