Strike the sun bit @DirtyGertiefromno30 its bucketing rain now. Was gonna put wash out and ds2 said its raining...just a shower at first now bucketing and windy. Had put out my tomato and cucumber plants for a bit of sun and had to bring them in! Luckily missed the wind. Sun has a cheek to be still trying to shine. There goes my plans for a walk 😡
Got my garage bill today 😱 How much for oil???
Mn still coming up as error so sticking with Samsung for now.

Just putting my second load on the line, it's dull as ditch water here but so windy it has dried the one lot already yay 😁.

I need to get off my butt and put washing away and hoover upstairs, seem to be stuck on sofa!

Hoovered and dusted my room and hoovered landing and stairs. Found a bra that needs sewing cos wire is poking through so will do that. Washing put way. Coffee time. Its so dark I will need the light on I think to sew!
Starting to rain again. Hoping its just drizzle or I will have to offer to take ds2 to work!
Its never ending!

Watching Eurovision semi finals and enjoying it very much DH is banished upstairs watching football 🤣

Urghh I haven't watched that in years @DirtyGertiefromno30 it just got too ridiculous. For me it got all about shock value, excess and no substance. A friend of mine loves it she does meals to match the countries etc 🤣 Each to thier own, enjoy.
Shopping tomorrow oh joy. But I think both kids will come so will be fun.

I got on without it freezing , yay!!
I tend to use my laptop as the keyboard is bigger , phone opens up all right , but I hate having to type and read in the little box ( grumpy old woman 😀)
All okay here , powering down from the big move , but still plenty to do . DD1-s bathroom is a bit cursed - DH sorted out a new filling mechanism for the toilet cistern as it was incredibly slow . Then a leak under the bath , then the shower hose fell to bits . DH has been on it , including making a new bath panel . Then , as toilet roll holders , rails etc were being put on , the toilet seat broke 🙄but I thjnk/hope that may be it . Due to that , we still have a trip to put up DGS shelves and a new roman blind for his bedroom - that is a Saturday job ahead .
DH is also on with making a new desk for my craft room . Much discussion on what height ~I want it , making it very stable etc . Luckily he hoards useful wood etc and in our garage , he had a dismantled wardrobe , - the 2 sides pale wood finish have been utilised , no cutting needed , perfect sizing . Legs to be added and it will be ready to use .
Its windy and damp here , but I have put some washing on , just in case in stays dry , but if not , I will trial the new tumble dryer - put it through its paces .
Right - off to my craft club now !

Raining here this morning again but supposed to stop soon. I put a polo neck on this morning as sick of being cold. Want to go get shopping but ds1 is complaining that he is aching all over. Told him to take paracetamol 😄

Back from shopping. Need a lie down in a cool dark room! Oh well pantry is stocked, freezer is stocked so will only need bread and milk for a while. Got plenty other bills coming up!

Sounds like you’re slowly coming down from all the chaos of the move, although DD1’s bathroom really does sound cursed! Every time one thing gets fixed, something else decides to give up 🙄 Thank goodness your DH is so handy though , a new bath panel and now a custom craft desk too, that’s seriously impressive. I love that he’s managed to repurpose bits from the old wardrobe as well, very clever and satisfying when things line up perfectly like that.
Your craft room desk sounds like it’s going to be brilliant once finished, especially having it exactly the height and sturdiness you want. And hopefully the toilet seat was the bathroom’s final tantrum 🤞

Fingers crossed the washing survives the wind and damp, but at least you’ve got the new tumble dryer ready for its first proper test run if needed! Hope you have a lovely time at craft club sounds like you’ve definitely earned a bit of relaxing and crafting after all the house drama 😊

You’ve definitely earned that lie down after all that @Thebookofcarolagain! Shopping is exhausting enough without the weather playing games too, freezing and raining when you go out, then lovely once you’re home, typical British timing! At least you’ve got the pantry and freezer sorted .
Poor Ds1, hopefully the Paracetamol kicked in and he feels a less achy.
And aw, that was really sweet of Ds2 spotting your favourite cherries and bringing you a bag 🥰 . Little thoughtful things like that mean a lot. Enjoy them, you deserve a treat after surviving the supermarket! 😄

Race across the world tonight and unbelievable but true it's The Chelsea Flower Show next week

Ds1 took the paracetamol, showered and came with us @DirtyGertiefromno30 (He wanted to buy a load of crap for his room to munch on during gaming🤣)
We put it all away and apart from bringing D2s washing in and make my tea i have done nowt else today. Weather got a bit overcast and chilly then sun come back out! Friend in England has had hailstones! Good grief!
All settled down to watch The Hobbit now 😉

I prefer my PC too @bookbook but i havent got it plugged in. Must get my finger out.
