I had to laugh at you matching your succulent to the new pot @Thebookofcarolagain. I think we all end up talking to our plants eventually! 🌱😂
Well done for resisting the temptation to go looking for more plants too. That takes some willpower! 😁 Especially after paying for your glasses. Even with a discount they are not bargains.
Glad Ds1 got his shopping it sounds like you've both had a productive day all round 😁.

Cauliflower cheese for tea tonight 😋

Well rain came, went and has come again. Damm weather!
Made pork shoulder steaks for tea, just pan fried, I got baguettes in HBs to put it in sliced up with a bit of gravy. Was pretty meh tbh. I prefer them slow cooked in gravy with veg.
Oh well live and learn.
Watered my succulents in my bedroom and blooming pot my succulent is in is too big for my new pot, dammmm. Oh well I will find another one. 😁
Bottled up the elderflower cordial so that's done and dusted.
After I clean up kitchen that's me for the day. No more 😁

Just blinking typical when you find a nice new pot and then discover the plant is too big for it! 🌵😁 I'm sure you'll find another plant to go in there though 😁.
Well done getting the Elderflower cordial bottled up too. That's another job crossed off the list 👏. You've earned a sit down once the kitchen's done 🤗. Just had cauliflower cheese and it was yummy fair dos 😋 DH is having steak and chips . He's welcome to it l would rather cauliflower cheese 😋😁

Strawberries and elderflower cordial sounds lovely 😋 🍓🥤. I'd say go for Skyrim if you're tempted. Once you get back into it you'll probably wonder why you left it so long! 😁

Cleaned the fridge freezers out and been to Aldis to do the shopping, put it all away and now getting a bit of tea and toast for dinner 😋.
2 loads of washing today all gone in the tumble dryer, the weather is terrible here windy , rain and freezing 12C 🥶

Head down and carrying on here atm .Still sorting material and craft supplies which keep on turning up in strange places I bunged them .
DH on a job of getting stuff out of the loft doesnt help🙄.
Today the rain has been gentle but persistant . This morning I managed to get to a ripe strawberry before the birds !!! ( the first got taken , so I have now netted them )
everyone all okay , but the list of ‘things to do ‘ does not appear to ever get any shorter . By gum , its been chilly too - our central heating clicked on this morning , and again this afternoon - its June fir goodness sake .
MN is still being a pain for me - this week it logged me out , and I had no idea of my password. You lot and the sewing thread are the only things that get me to look these days ( grumpy tired old lady !! )

Laughed at you finding craft supplies all over the place. I put things away 'safe' and never find them for months! Leave Dh to it, his idea his mess to sort out. (Can he come do mine please?) Yes MN.can be crazy sometimes, jumping all over the place, where you don't want to go! I got logged out once nit so long ago as well hence new name. Ridiculous after all the money they make with adverts etc you would think they could pay tech folk to fix it.

More rain here but not as cold, so weird.
Tea is in oven. Fingers crossed. Got a quick recipie with a rub to try, very simple, fingers crossed. New pots too, yummmy.

Just watching the opening ceremonies of the world cup , looking good so far .
Had my tea and made enough tuna and sweetcorn for tomorrow as well it was delicious but you know me and baked potatoes 🤣😋

Chicken tasted nice @DirtyGertiefromno30 but not as juicy as the recipie promised I must take it out sooner next time.
Ds1 has been given the dishes to do😁 There's not much i washed up as I went.
In pjs snd chilling now.

Whole sky is covered in clouds except where sun is setting. There are a couple of gaps for the golden light to get through. Maybe tomorrow will be better...

Bonus points for getting DS1 on dish duty @Thebookofcarolagain 😁 . Pj’s on, everything tidied up, and that sky doing its golden little glow through the cloud that's a lovely way to wind down the day.
