That choc/nut pastry sounds delicious too 😋 🤤. Glad you've got the plumber booked and your bloods sorted. Always good getting those jobs ticked off l know its a nuisance but gotta be done 🙄. And 17° and sunshine sounds lovely 😍 . Great that all your plants are outside enjoying it 😁.
My DH is out in the garden doing noisy strimming 🤣. We are having a cuppa and piece of sponge 😋

Have trimmed up my dahlia and planted it in garden. Put branches round it and used a bit of garden twine till it gets established and gave it a water. Accidently dug up a dahlia corm and it has a shoot! Fingers crossed! Bit late but... Will need to go out later and water everything its all dry despite the rain.
Trying to muster up energy to wash down counter tops in kitchen, bleurgh, another coffee first 😁😁

I know! Everything seems bone dry already despite the rain. DH has been out there watering even though it was wet morning 🤣.
He just bought me the first of the sweet peas and they are beautiful and smell so lovely 😍

Have cleaned kitchen, washed all my utensils jars, bread bin etc. Even did stupid thin windowsill 'trench'. Tidied up, put stuff elsewhere. All nice for plumber tomorrow if he wants to check kitchen sink too.😄 Will do bathroom later.

Oh yum the wings were delicious @DirtyGertiefromno30 . Easy peasy just took a while to cook in batches. Will def make them again. Having a muffin with my cuppa now.

I am done! Been out and watered everything, even gave gravel a sprinkle. Oh damm i just realised i only did one side! Then staked and tied up 3 sunflowers that are growing in top border. Cant see any in bottom border! Dishes washed, kitchen floor washed, bathroom can wait till tomorrow, will give it a quick wipe when I get up. Am knackered.
Pjs on doing no more.
I used to watch Auf Weidersein with my mum and dad. It was good.

Up early! Washing is out, pottered in garden dead heading. A couple of my polyanthus have flower stalks again , yeah!
Plumber has been. He blocked the overflow pipe and plunged the sink...quickest fix ever! Feel such a twit!
He said most people dont know to do that.

Dentist this afternoon for my check up. Ds2 prob coming with for company and we can go for a coffee.

Well we got up early and went to Cardiff to Costco , got all the things we needed and had dinner there, hot dog for DH, tuna baked potato for me 😋👏on our way home now 😊.

All your pottering and deadheading is really paying off, well done 👍.
And honestly, don't feel a twit about the sink! If it makes you feel any better, I'd never have known to block the overflow pipe and plunge it either. Thank goodness it was such a quick and simple fix though. Much better than discovering it was something major and messy .
Good luck at the dentist this afternoon. Hopefully it's just a straightforward check up and you'll be in and out 🙏🤞. It'll be nice having DS2 along for company too, and a coffee afterwards sounds like a very good plan to me ☕.

Hope Costco wasn't too busy @DirtyGertiefromno30 although you went early so prob avoided crowds.. Yep you are right about the sink, could have been worse!

Dentist was quick but he spotted a tiny bit thats heading towards needing filled and just put in a scale and poiish in the appoint too. I hate that, sets my sensitivity off no end but I haven't had one in a while, my last dentist there never suggested one so quite glad.
Coffee shop was closed! Oh well, had a look in 2 charity shops and got a lovely small pot plant holder for £2.50. Cheeky ds when I was looking at it said "I am sure you have something that will go in it!"😁
Stopped and got elderflowers on way back, something to do later...
Raining when we left and off and on all the way there but stopped once we got there. I did bring washing in once dark.clouds started gathering @DirtyGertiefromno30 thankfully was dry.

Costco was horrendous 🙄 l don't know why but there were loads of parents with school age children with them when they should have been in school . Running around the place , screaming , shouting ,crying and getting in everyone's way . The parents were oblivious 🙄

Took pork shoulder steaks out for tea this mirning but they are still frozen . Now i have to think of something else. Ds1 had something just before we came home so he can whistle😄 Might just do toasties for ds2 and I.

What a nightmare in Costco! Unruly kids are a pia especially when parents don't care.

Yep just bumbling along @FridayNighFeeling I do like my pot thanks. Went upstairs last night and said to one of my succulents on my bedroom windowsill, "Oh you would look good in that pot" 😆
Been for my glasses. Ds1 came and got his shopping in HBs. I got milk and tissues i forgot their other day. Was very good and didnt go looking for plants. Paid enough for my glasses even with the discount! 😁
Quick shower of rain/hail in town! We are forecast thunderstorms! Lovely day so far...fingers crossed.
