Having a Chinese takeaway tonight, DH and Dd2 watching rugby 🏉 🤣

Muffins are done they smell good. I did double recipie cos of the bananas. But as technically they aren't muffins, not having deep huge muffins tins or cases, pah who needs them? 😉 So they are big buns so got 3 extra😁😁

Hopefully they taste good.....😬

GW was fab as usual, all those lovely gardens and that Mediterranean/succulent one oh my!
I am happy with these 2 alpines, going nuts with flowers.

I am planning on building up the number of succulents and alpines in the gravel so I can reduce the ground covering self seeders. Little by little...

Your Alpines look very happy , they're flowering their heads off there 😁👏. The gravel garden plan sounds great too , adding more succulents and alpines bit by bit should look lovely and help keep those selfseeders under control a bit too 🌿.

I bet it is @DirtyGertiefromno30 . Went there with kids 10+years ago. The heat is like hitting a brick wall when you walk out a building! You get sort of used to it but next time you've been inside for a while it hits you again. I couldn't live there.

Been out and had a nosey round the garden.
None of my dahlias are sprouting yet😭 i might need to just buy sone😉 Maybe could pick up some discounted ones they way shops don't look after their plants properly?

Put my plants out as its not cold and watered them, now bloody wind is getting up. Typical. Will let them sit and drain a bit.
Arghhh drives me mad this gardening malarkey 🤪

No bargains just did a bit of grocery shopping in Cwmbran . On our way home now . Held up though , some poor person is threatening to jump off the bridge. We will have to go around the mulberry bush to get home instead. Hope they are ok 💐

Been out the front tying up my sunflowers even higher, they are growing! I was checking pansies in another pot to deadhead and discovered the most gorgeous orange and red fresia growing! It's beautiful and of course the scent! Maybe one of the seeds from the 2 pkts i sowed everywhere or maybe self seeded from somewhere. I hope theres more somewhere i sowed seeds at.
(Still avoiding the bucket, the wind is too damm cold to stay out long)
Given my toms and cucumber a good watering and left them in sink to drain. I am paranoid cos the cucumber has a few flowers but some are just wilting and a couple of leaves on toms are shriveled. Just fed the buggers!
Sat down with another coffee to listen to a story now 😉

I wouldn't worry too much about the tomatoes and cucumber. You've watered and fed them, so you've done all the right things.l bet you they will be fine 🤗.
And I think the snail bucket can wait until it's a bit warmer 🤣. Coffee and a good story sounds far more appealing☕📖

Was waiting for ds2 to get back from work so we had very late tea @DirtyGertiefromno30 . Chichen stir-fry in hoisin sauce and rice. Had a cup of tea and a muffin too. Much too late will screw up my midnight meds 😄

Home from shopping.
Wrnt to HB fir a few things. Had a look at garden area, the big dahlias were a right state. All flopped over, no stakes, bone dry, withered leaves. Took one to till and asked for a discount and got £1 off. Not too shabby (should have got the other type as well😉) Apparently they dont come staked and they just dont bother.

At Aldi for essentials and treated myself to pack of Italian pastry (ds2s fault) choc/nut. Having one with coffee now.😋
Got plumber coming tomorrow morning to bathroom sink drain and booked bloods for next week.
Weather not too shabby here, sorry @DirtyGertiefromno30 , sunny with clouds but I have all my plants out. Shopping area was scorching 17° 😲 Was stripped down to tshirt waiting for ds who was in Morrisons

Home from seeing Mum, she was good there today thankfully. Washed and dried her hair. Weather has suddenly improved so much so that my washing is on the line and l can't believe it 🤣.
Went to put flowers on my Dad's grave it's his birthday tomorrow he would have been 94 . Gave it all a good clean and tidy up . Beautiful here now sunny and blue skies unbelievable! Just had a cheese roll crisps and a cuppa 😋
