Afternoon all. Lovely day so far except for the wind!
I dont kniw whether I am coming or going.😄
Started off putting washing on. Then got a pot of mixed succulents to repot. The gorgeous bubbly one is losing its bubbles and I thought maybe I had over watered them. Took them out but they are bone dry. Have split them into the two types and put the big bubbly two in a wider pot. (Used an ancient bowl that was my gp's) Then of course had to wash some of the white stones that came off the house during the big storm i had collected. Then I had to tidy up the mess in kitchen. Then the washing was done. Then decided to put my kitchen plants outside. I lifted the nasturtiums and my largest straw flower seedlings and put them in with the pansies in the space left by the fern. Hopefully they will grow. One nasturtium has a flower! When I put washing away i just automatically started deadheading in the bottom border, had to get scissors to do papaver, back and forth back and forth.......I just kept seeing things to do! All the seeds i sowed that came up are growing, especially the poppies, lots of ornamental poppies! Have the gravel spread out to dry a bit outside before I put it on top of succulents pots. Kitchen floor is dirty cos the compost bag was wet...another job to do. Help!

You've been a busy bee today @Thebookofcarolagain! 😄 Every job seemed to lead on to another, but you've got so much done you are a whirlwind ! I had to lol at you starting with the washing and ending up repotting Succulents, washing stones, deadheading flowers ,making a mess on the kitchen floor 😁
Hopefully the bubbly Succulents will be much happier in their new pot, and that's so lovely to use your GP's old bowl. I love that you did that ❤️. It's great that your Poppies and seedlings are doing so well too, and a flowering Nasturtium too!
We went shopping, off to the charity shops, didn't get any bargains though and Tesco, Home Bargains and Asda . Came home put it all away, just had a bit of dinner , garlic pizza with extra cheese on top oh my it's yummy 😋. Managed to dry the washing on the line , don't ask me how it did with the showers going by but it did, just put it all away and put the hoover over downstairs. Going to have a Mac n cheese ready meal for tea 😋

Went out and climbed up on raised bit and checked for weeds in small bed, found a thistle! Pulled all the sticky Willie's poking through the fence and all the grass, grass in paving slabs etc. Ended up doing the whole fence length. Put the stones chips on my succulents, washed up kitchen surfaces. Blooming weather! Rain was forecast this afternoon. Clouds started building, dark and broody. I went and got 2nd washing in and all my plants...clouds just passed over slowly and no bloody rain and now its sunny and warm!

Been to coop and got some essentials and a reduced steak pie. . Took ds2 to work too. Was gonna have a baked pot for tea but pots are all past eating so having beans n saus on toast with a poached egg. (Wish i had checked before I went to coop!) Not going into town until Thurs for my glasses so will get them then with my hopefully mini shop.
Shame you didn't find any bargains @DirtyGertiefromno30 next time..Pizza sounds good. That's what kids are having for tea.

The weather has been a proper tease here too forecast rain and yet just brief showers 🙄. And with you all those dark clouds and not a drop of rain after you'd brought everything in. Just blinking typical!
That steak pie sounds a good find 😋. Shame about the potatoes, but your tea sounds nice all the same 😋

It's cold here as well, just had some cold orange juice instead of a cuppa that's probably why l am feeling the cold but saying that it's only 15C here. I put one of my warm sweatshirts on 🙄

Anthony Head😭 Only 72, too bloody young. Had pneumonia. As if life didn't suck enough.

I can't believe that Anthony Head has died from Pneumonia complications. He was only 72 . God l really liked him . Very handsome man , a great actor and an all rounded decent man . He was the Patron of Horse world in Bristol where we used to take the girls when they were little 😭

I didn't see your post @Thebookofcarolagain it's so upsetting. l can't explain l feel so sad 😭. Bless him l so hope it was peaceful and he didn't know anything about it .

I just can't believe he's gone @Thebookofcarolagain. What the hell happened. I know Pneumonia has a really high mortality rate but he always seemed so young fit and heathy . Such a lovely person . I wouldn't have blamed you camping out , he would probably have had you in for a cuppa Gold Bend 🤗❤️

Yes him and Sharon were so popular in those ads . He must have made a mint from them and l am so glad he had such a successful acting career and knew how loved he was by the public .

He had a fab singing voice too, multi talented.

He did @Thebookofcarolagain he played Dr FranknFurter in the Rocky Horror picture show and he was brilliant. A beautiful man ❤️

Yep saw the anniversary concert, brilliant. He had albums of his own stuff too. Beautiful voice.
Him on Craig Fergusons show in USA talking about Rocky Horror when they were both in it. Hilarious.

The weather can't make its mind up with you nor me @Thebookofcarolagain! 😁 At least the rain has stopped with me , even if it's cooler and windy now but it's all rubbish 😞.
Did you see GW last night ? lt was succulent heaven. 👏🤗.
The milkshake went down well with Mum too thank you 😋😁. It's made with 1 pint of full fat milk, 3 tablespoons of double cream, 3 tablespoons of powdered milk, a scoop of vanilla ice cream and 2 tablespoons of Nesquik chocolate powder. No wonder Mum likes it! 😂
I had a 😁 at time getting away from you. At least you got a lie in and have a nice relaxed day ahead though 😁

Have dragged the hoover around and am gonna make banana muffins. Was wstchibg Frugal Fit Mum last night when ds2 came home and she was making banana bread. I said I have bananas in freezer i could make some tomorrow and he was "Yes i think you should" 😆 we have decided on muffins instead. Had to make my own on buttermilk though! Never buy it.
Ds2 is off out with mates as its one of thier birthdays so they are off for a meal out then pub. Apparently there's a thing going on in town, music, food stalls etc so they will have a rake round that too. No idea what it is haven't been on FB in months.

Just making the now @DirtyGertiefromno30 waiting on the 2nd lot of buttermilk to clump. I had too many bananas so doing double recipie so had to double everything! Will freeze half of them.

Ooh I forgot. Yesterday when pulling weeds out the fence i noticed an alium bulb has started blooming. Not the plain purple one but a lovely stary lighter one. I had given up on them.😄
