I found the 2025 version of Dracula. It's mostly European actors (but in English) I am really enjoying it, its different from others I have seen. Set in Paris, just different enough to interest me.

Rained last night but was hot! Thunderstorm was predicted but never heard anything

Just had a sweet potato and cheese, never had a sweet potato with cheese before but it was very nice . Cuppa now ☕😁

Sick of the stupid unpredictability of the weather today. Were told it was gonna rain by 3pm. Now being told thunderstorms will end soon...what thunderstorms? But it is warm and muggy. We need a good thunderstorm to clear the air.
Have done big washing but not putting it out as sky keeps threatening rain with black clouds.

I was thinking of walking down the street with ds2 who was meeting friend for a bite then a haircut but my knee is going nuts today. Plus the benches at beach will be wet from last nights rain so nowhere to sit down.
Ds2 has pork belly he bought in freezer that he is having for his tea, I am gonna have a ham salad . Ds1 can have burger or something when he wants.

Probably wise keeping the washing in for now. Knowing our luck, it'd rain the second it was all hung out! 😆
Sorry your knee is playing up @Thebookofcarolagain 💐. That's a shame when you were thinking of walking with your DS2. Wet beaches and a sore knee aren't much fun in any weather 🙄.
Tea sounds lovely though. DS2's pork belly sounds delicious, and a ham salad is perfect for a warm evening for you 😋.
I am having a bit of pizza tonight and DH is doing himself steak , chips and mushrooms. I didn't want it because l am still full up from the sweet potato 🤣😋

Well we had 1 minute of rain and 3 claps of thunder! Wow! It's brightening up now with amazing clouds.

Went for the LOTR double. Am watching Van Helsing (not only Hugh Jackman ) with David Wenham 😄 A brilliant romp.
