When you think of rock/metal who do you picture? Jimi Hendrix,Freddie Mercury,Ozzy,Mick Jagger etc. Not that it's restricted to singers of course.

Curly hair is awesome. Nothing wrong with it.Though I suppose a Robert Plant comparison isn't exactly what one wants to hear at that age.

Well he still has great hair so it could be worse.

yes they are good things. but those would him actually make him someone liveable -with, so actually something obtainable (thirty years ago) and thereofre i'd have to fel bad about not having him,

I beg to differ, Job Bon Jovi certainly is a rock god and still sells out on tours the same as all the biggies!

The young ones just seem a bit too cute, or a bit bobbly hat wearing. I fear this is me not them though. They don't bestride the stage like they used to.

The Wiggles sell out on tours too.

I've yet to hear of any recent rock band that I'd consider to be on a par with the greats. They're nowhere near it. Not even fit to roadie for them.

Try the Gaslight Anthem. Very cool, fairly young, cute lead singer, great songs in a tribute to early Bruce Springsteen sort of way. Not on a par with the greats, obviously but....

However, not a rock god in the true sense of the word.

My parents went to see him perform 2 years ago. My sister and I were seething that we weren't invited--it was them who got us hooked on Alice Cooper and all we got was a -lousy actually quite awesome t-shirt each.

I love Alice. He's in as far as I'm concerned.
