Rock gods.

Who is yours? Your top rock god.

When you think of rock/metal who do you picture? Jimi Hendrix,Freddie Mercury,Ozzy,Mick Jagger etc. Not that it's restricted to singers of course.

Argh. Just nipped out for a (evil) smoke before bed and a shouty owl scared me half to death.

BellaRed: my sis thinks we should invite JD and kids to DD's next birthday. DD has asked me to invite Anthony Kiedis. Of course i do personally know all these rock gods .

Think you are right about Queen too, iconic and hugely influential. But i also think that about Nirvana (ducks and runs)...

It is a great video,though the ballet bit is a bit odd.They had a lot of top videos though my favourite is the Innuendo video.

We have a shouty owl who lives across the road with a big falcon thing. Hooooooooooooooooooooot.

Queen were so influential. I remember listening to Innuendo when I had my tonsils out!

I'm going to sleep and to tell the dog off for running about upstairs.

Apparently he's only 5' 7"... which doesn't do it for me- though he must be in proportion, as you can't tell from photographs.

much though i adore Muse, Matt isn't pretty enough to make a rock god.

rather like the vocally similar Thom Yorke -
Colin Greenwood might qualify. an axe monster on the quiet.

Jim Morrison was the rock god, Wombat .

(though i'd forgotten about Trent, he is a bit of a hotty - i'll never forget seeing the largest buise of my life on the body of a co-worker who'd been to see NIN live)

Vote for Bellared's spin-off category of Guitar Gods, Slash would be my first nomination...

Did someone ask who Glen Danzig is? Only the founder of the Misfits - never that popular but hugely influential.

I did count guitar gods. I said Angus Young is my rock god and he's a lead guitarist. It doesn't just have to be singers. Drummers, guitarists and even bassists are all quite acceptable.
