smartiejake · 30/11/2008 19:50

But will need lots of space as my low is five feet long!

smartiejake · 30/11/2008 19:53

My low C that should say.

glasgowstyle · 30/11/2008 19:54

Could I join? I can offer mouse clicking & scrolling sounds

TheConstantIroner · 30/11/2008 19:57

Can I join too?

I can add a didgeridoo and also pvc windows (though only if wind in south easterly direction).

cmotdibbler · 30/11/2008 21:32

I can add some more flute, or sing tenor (unlike Jessia this is my actual range somewhat embarrasingly in my youth).

I also do mean percussion on the ladybird castanets, and can do a good 'William Tell' on the airbed pump hose

BoccaDellaVerita · 30/11/2008 21:35

Airbed pump hose? Pray give us some tips, cmot, as it could add extra joy to next year's camping trips.

Yup, you're all in. Will redo the list when feeling less Sundayish.

Beauregard · 30/11/2008 21:35

I used to be loved for my 3 blind mice on the flute.
I am also very good with a couple of coconut shells and a maraca.

cmotdibbler · 30/11/2008 21:41

Well, it's rather like a corrogated plastic, unbent bugle really. If you can do a 'brass' mouth, it's pretty easy.
Of course the pump and the hose are now separated (as this is popular in the dibbler house) which means that blowing the airbed up will be tricky

BoccaDellaVerita · 30/11/2008 21:46
MaryMotherOfCheeses · 30/11/2008 21:48

Wow.

DingDongDisasterAreaOnHigh · 01/12/2008 08:44

i had a really vivid dream about this last night. we were all together and really making music.
have to get out more

Katisha · 01/12/2008 09:35

How was my stylophone solo?

DingDongDisasterAreaOnHigh · 01/12/2008 09:40

was brilliant. very noisy and laughed alot.

Katisha · 01/12/2008 09:41

Excellent. Makes it worth the years of practice.

Dragonbrandybutter · 01/12/2008 18:48

Hello everyone,
Your tardy and unreliable conductor here.
Good to see you all here.
Can't wait to hear stinkyfeets careless whisper solo.
I also love that our windows section has now dicotomised into pvc and sash. How exciting!
Am also so glad we found a coconut shell player, good to see you pelvicfloornomore.

I'm glad Bocca's holding the fort so professionally. How long before i get demoted to stapler playing?

SnowMuchToBits · 01/12/2008 20:54

Ooooh, smartiejake! you are talented! You can play 1st clarinet then (I was always a better 2nd player myself, unless of course you need a wild and wacky E flat clarinet solo, in which case, I'm your woman!)

And thanks, Bocca for adding us in!

BoccaDellaVerita · 01/12/2008 22:03

Dragonbrandybutter - It's good to see you! I've been muddling along but we really need your artistic direction. This is where we've got to ...

DBB - I have added you on stapler, as we seem to have a growing stationery and office equipment section and I guess it would be quite easy to flourish your stapler from the conductor's podium.

Now over to you....

SnowMuchToBits · 01/12/2008 22:07

When's the first rehearsal, then?

Dragonbrandybutter · 01/12/2008 22:15

I've found an alaskan railroad whistle amongst the kids toys musical instruments if anyone wants to take it. It only does one note, but for the right person i'm sure it'll sound sweeeeet!

I think we should warm up with a frere jacque non?

OP posts:
BoccaDellaVerita · 01/12/2008 22:44

Just name the date and time.

ImPinkThereforeImSpam · 02/12/2008 13:47

Has anyone mentioned this yet?
I'll step up and play the ukelele badly!

BoccaDellaNativita · 02/12/2008 14:35

ImPink - I had been thinking that I wanted Viv Stanshall to do all the introductions as each player joined in - leading (inevitably) to "Tuuu-bu-lar Bells" - but I hadn't mentioned him or the Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band because I feared I might be the only one old enough to remember them. And, besides, dragonbutter is musical director and conductor and she may have a different artistic vision for the concert!

We need a ukelele player in the orchestra. How long have you been learning? I've dropped hints that I'd like one for Christmas.

Threadworrm · 02/12/2008 14:40

And introducing.....

Threadworm doing Polly Wolly Doodle All the Day, on the Manual Toothbrush.

(Pleease.)

NotBigJustBolshy · 02/12/2008 14:40

I can offer harmonica and dog: I "play" the harmonica and the dog sings along.

Threadworrm · 02/12/2008 14:42

Oh yes, my dog does this too. Can we have a dog chorus?
