I just can't stand...Amy Winehouse.
There I said it.
When I've said this out loud in front of friends, they've behaved as though I've taken a shit in their handbag.
The voice is wonderful I agree. But:

1. Her shitty attitude
2. The addictions (yeah it's an illness 🫩)
3. Bad choices in men
4. Was she really so outstandingly wonderful that we forgive the unprofessionalism? Late to gigs, arseholed on stage etc etc

I've seen the documentaries. She was vulnerable. Her family/friends/ milkman took advantage.

Rather they have specific songs I don 't like.
I suppose Patsy Cline comes close to no appeal for me.

Madonna - found her cringey even when I was young in the 80s. I remember when she claimed she wanted to be like Marilyn Monroe 'comic and sexual'. I mean, talk about having a high opinion of yourself! Absolutely deluded.
Spice Girls - similarly, just found the girl power stuff embarrassing. Any time Geri speaks (even now) I almost cringe myself inside out.

Ahhh...I never heard that about RT in the press or among gossip mongers. I worked with one of her best friends and she didn't ever say anything bad about him that I was aware of. But I'd hardly be the person to know the inside gossip!
