I bloody worshipped him from being about 12 years old. I remember liking Wham! music and hearing it at a youth club I went to, and then one day I saw his picture in my dad's Daily Star and it was LOVE! It was 1984.

I've just shared this clip on another thread, I think it's one of the sexiest performances I ever saw him do, I love the dance moves in this.

Oh God, I wish he had stayed with him, things would have turned out so differently I think. I just noticed that when George was with Kenny he always kept his hair longer, rather than the close shaved style of his last few years, I wonder if that was how Kenny liked it? I preferred it longer too.

I agree Fresta, have been thinking about that recently. Especially as Kenny kept him from harming himself after his mum died. Am not saying that happened this time, but his life seemed on a particular path after they split. I suspect there was more to the Fadi relationship than meets the eye, I think Andros is right in what he says about him, and I think I'm right in saying they always lived seperately. Unlike George and Kenny. Does anyone know why they split? So obviously adored each other. Incidentely, I thought at the pneumonia time, the papers said Kenny and Fadi were both there, but he says they didn't meet. And I too love his hair longer

I really don't now what to make of Fadi. All the pictures of him and George together are quite old. I know he was a former porn actor and the rumours are that he was a rent boy.

I have been watching as I'd completely forgotten he did this. The video is great, George totally transforms the song and he has so much energy, I love the way he moves in this.

It's how he is behaving on social media that is strange IMO Fresta. Instinct too. It's all so uncomfortable

I do think Fadi is getting quite a hard time in the press and on Twitter, he comes across as very naive and in some ways I fee quite sorry for him. The truth will out as they say. And I can't wait for it all to be over and George laid to rest. The papers aren't going to let it lie until then. I noticed there were more horrid rumours and gossip in the press again today- no wonder he hated The Sun!

There was a lovely story about him giving £99,000 to an Aids charity in Africa though!

It looks like the upcoming GM documentary is to be delayed for quite a while and rescheduled for later in the year. It doesn't surprise me. We still don't know what he died from and they haven't even buried him yet. A documentary so soon just wouldn't seem be-fitting.
It's just heart-breaking.
