I always save my Superman pants for scary occasions, they always give me secret strength.

Grin I so want a pair of Superman pants now.

No email today and I'm guessing there won't be over the weekend, either.

Polter, so I tell DS1. His response?

'I don't like being patient!'

CloudPerson · 18/11/2016 19:28

Asda went through a stage of superhero comfy pants, so I have a full range of superman, batman and wonder woman pants. Only the Superman pants give secret strength though, for some reason.

Polter, I like those buttons. My mother used to have an old hot chocolate tin full of buttons, I used to play with them and sort them out.

CloudPerson · 18/11/2016 19:30

Ds2 has spent the last half hour repeating Siri on his phone. Siri (Australian Siri) replies and ds says the same thing back, and so on into infinity. How do I make it stop 😁

Oooh, buttons! I used to play with my mum's button jar too. They're just so lovely. Smooth and regular shaped and just so tactile! Not a fan of the ones with the loop on the back though, holey ones are so much nicer.

Kenworthington · 18/11/2016 20:27

LOVE the jacket poulter. I also like the gold buttons they give it a jaunty air! I swear it with a loose longer line top/dress and skinny trousers and some ankle boots. And some jewellery.

Oh haha! God I LOVE clothes. Love love love them. Can't wear any kind of heels though. Like to be comfy but stylish. I do think (well I know) that people think I'm a quirky (ugh hate that word) dresser. But I def have my own style thing going on!

Would you wear a dress? A dress can be comfy. And you don't have to try and match anything.

Kenworthington · 18/11/2016 20:41

Or what about some loose tapered trousers and a tucked in slouchy tshirt with it? Similar to your normal style but more polished

Kenworthington · 18/11/2016 20:42

Ps what's the job? Sorry if I've missed you say

Well I have no idea what that is but I bet you'll be perfect for it Grin

By the way I'm pretty fat too. Ho hum. It's one thing I've finally realised I don't actually care about. In fact I think I have an over inflated sense of my own beauty 😂

autisticrat · 18/11/2016 21:27

It's okay. Fat rats are cute.

Hello everyone, hope you don't mind me joining in Smile

I was going to start a new thread about this but thought I'd ask here instead.

I don't know if it's just me being weird or oversensitive but does anyone else sometimes feel odd or even sometimes upset about threads about autism posted elsewhere on MN?

I don't know if I'm going to explain this very well so I hope nobody thinks I'm too strange but right now it's the teacher one. Obviously I know people can post what they like and I don't have to look at the threads or reply to them but I'm an idiot and get sucked in.

I've just realised I'm making no sense but sometimes I'm just a bit Hmm about people's motivations and I just think "wtf are you posting this if you know it's likely to cause upset?".

I need to shut up and get a Brew and stop talking gibberish Sad.

AVirginLitTheCandle · 18/11/2016 21:32

On an unrelated note, I had never heard of the term autist until a couple of months ago on a thread in AIBU Grin

I'm beginning to think that there are some things I need to STFU about Sad
