Hi, hope your Jogglers have arrived safely. Once you've had the chance to get them set up and had a play, please can you post your feedback to these questions from O2:

  1. Did you find it easy to set up?
  1. What worked best for you?
  1. Would you recommend it to a friend?
  1. Do you think it's good value for money
  1. Would you like to see any additions?
  1. How would you use it to organise your family life?
  1. Anything else you'd like to add?

And the latest on the webchats is that they'll now take place between 1-2pm (not 7pm) on Weds 10 June and Weds 1 July on www.mum-e.co.uk, but as usual if you can't make it on the day you can leave your questions/feedback in advance and the Joggler team will answer them/respond between 1-2pm.

We'll post the urls of the chats as soon as we have them.

Happy Joggling,

MNHQ

LoL Mrs W - you and DH sound like DH & I... People can't understand why we e-mail each other when we both work at home in offices next to each other...

Have just set mine up.

Will come back with constructive comments later.

It seems incredibly easy to use so far.

SoupDragon · 01/06/2009 11:49

Geomag here and here

2 of them are actually magnetix, not geomag. It's surprisingly sturdy - doesn't so much as wobble when I hook it over.

I bet O2 start selling a fridge bracket based on my design

BecauseImWorthIt · 01/06/2009 11:56

Damn you, Soupy!

MrsWeasley · 01/06/2009 12:13

Excellent

Legacy · 01/06/2009 12:40

Wow - that is inspired! It doesn't look..er.. very safe, though does it??

at other photo - damn you!

KingCanuteIAm · 01/06/2009 12:45

Legacy, I had that problem with the clock. I unplugged it and plugged it back in and it reset to the correct time. If you try it I would take any other settings you have tried off first otherwise it may get confused!

MARGOsBeenDrinkingTea · 01/06/2009 12:45

If I'd have set up the calendar with all dates at the weekend I'd have never made the mistake of taking dd1 to preschool on an inset day. Note to self - update the calendar by the end of the day!

largeginandtonic · 01/06/2009 12:46

Arghhh Soupy!

Mine would be off in seconds.

Why do i feel the need to tap it every time i walk past?

wilbur · 01/06/2009 13:38

Right - am joining this thread a bit late as I only picked up my Joggler from the Post Office this morning.

It is 13.36 according to my computer and I am about the set it up. Am opening the box now and will report back when I am done.

[crosses fingers that router will speak to Joggler - router can be somewhat aloof]

wilbur · 01/06/2009 13:54

Ok - 13.48 now and the Joggler is set up on its basic level. It connected to the internet like a dream, which is amnazing, considering when I tried to get my au pair's laptop to connect through our wireless broadband the technical snags left me banging my forehead on the desk until it bled.

wilbur · 01/06/2009 13:56

Gosh - there some real traffic blackspots on the North Circular.

wilbur · 01/06/2009 13:57

Oooh, it's got a calculator. Fab.

SoupDragon · 01/06/2009 14:41

No, it doesn't look very safe which is why I won't leave it there . I actually think it's pretty secure though - those Geomag magnets are very strong.

MerlinsBeard · 01/06/2009 14:54

damn you SOupy!! Just as i stop reading the link bit because no one has posted that in aaaaages

The geomag thing is genius!!

Right, having entered our whole lives for June and July i would like the following things - a fortnightly repeat thing (i get a veg box fortnightly)

  • i would like to be able to set up my own quick events things ie kids party
  • would live a venue option on events (for kids parties etc)

but more than those, i want to be able to edit one of my things on repeat. IE i go to a toddler group every fri morn - fine, it's repeated but sometimes i will be making drinks, sometimes locking and it seems to add it to ALL future ones! (or connecting a memo to it would be just as good)

wilbur · 01/06/2009 16:04

In the Calendar - is there any way of putting in an end time? You know, Party for dd 2-4pm? Don't really want to put in a start and a pick up time.

MerlinsBeard · 01/06/2009 17:15

hmmm mine just froze so unplugged it and plugged it back in and it's taking forever to come back on

MerlinsBeard · 01/06/2009 17:25

it's back now but that took a LONG time!

fruitshootsandheaves · 01/06/2009 17:28

It needs an event alarm

It need a more flexible repeat event option. I can't put in Dh's shift as it only does a repeat for a week, month etc and he does 4 on 4 off so I'll have to enter every single shift manually. On my Palm I just enter each day of one shift and get them to repeat every 8 days and its done forever. Its going to be ANNOYING as alot depends on wheter dh is working or not.

it needs an event alarm

Also it needs more colour options. I'd like to highlight school holidays without having to necessarily enter it as an event for a particular person. It uses a blue background for everything if you select it as an multi day event for all.

it needs an event alarm

It needs to have customisable quick events.. I can't imagine ever using the bin recycling why is this a quick event??

and have I mentioned that it needs an event alarm

MrsWeasley · 01/06/2009 17:41

Umm Agree about needing to be able to edit a repeat event. Ie Guides is one every week for 7 weeks no problems, BUT on week 3 they are meeting earlier and on week 5 I need to remember to send in £2.50.

Actually the event alarm would be handy, i am always late.

Grattage · 01/06/2009 17:57

Grattage · 01/06/2009 18:00

Legacy · 01/06/2009 18:04

She's hung it from the side of the fridge by lining up some bits of Magnetix!

(Personally I think that it's funny that it's on top of the Organised Mum calendar....let's see which wins out at the end of the day...)
